Overview
Acts of Blood is a third-person action beat 'em up developed by Eksil Team and published by Big Fan. Hendra pursues the group responsible for murdering his family through Bandapa, Indonesia. Hand-to-hand fighting drives that pursuit, with melee weapons, firearms, and destructible surroundings giving him more ways to deal with the enemies in his path.
Hendra's campaign pairs its revenge story with a mission structure and an apartment to return to between outings. Combat skills develop throughout his journey, expanding his available techniques. Unlockable clothing and tattoos offer another way to shape the protagonist, away from the immediate demands of a fight.
How does combat work?
Acts of Blood combines chained martial arts attacks with blocks, counters, and brutal finishers. Hendra faces waves of enemies as well as bosses, making defensive reactions part of the central combat loop. Landing strikes matters, but reading an encounter and responding to incoming attacks also shape the action.

- Chained hand-to-hand strikes
- Blocks and counters
- Brutal finishing moves
- Unlockable combat techniques
New moves expand Hendra's options as his fighting skills improve. That gives progression a concrete purpose within the beat 'em up structure: more techniques become available to carry into subsequent encounters. Character growth connects directly to the actions performed during combat.

Weapons and environmental combat
Hendra can pick up bats, knives, and guns, adding armed attacks to his martial arts repertoire. The weapon selection brings a practical streak to the fighting. A developed move set remains central, but an available weapon provides another answer when bare hands are not enough.
A fight in Acts of Blood can wreck its surroundings. Furniture breaks when Hendra drives an opponent into it, and nearby objects become projectiles with a kick. The room becomes part of the encounter rather than scenery surrounding it.
Those environmental interactions give the action its scrappy character. Hendra's attacks can involve the objects around him as well as the weapons in his hands, making improvised violence a defining feature of the combat.

Bandapa and the breaks between missions
Bandapa gives Hendra's revenge story an Indonesian urban setting. The narrative centers on uncovering the powerful group behind his family's deaths after the justice system fails him. His investigation and the fighting share a specific motivation: finding the people responsible and exacting revenge.

Between missions, Hendra returns to his apartment to change his appearance. Unlockable outfits, tattoos, and style options provide personal expression alongside the development of new fighting techniques. The apartment creates a quieter interval within the mission structure, giving customization its own space between the street fights. Acts of Blood keeps that downtime connected to Hendra while its martial arts combat supplies the campaign's momentum.
