The Throne of Truth in Crimson Desert is one of those puzzles that looks straightforward until you're standing underground staring at a wall of buttons with no idea which one to hit first. It sits at the tail end of Chapter 9's New Perspectives main quest, tucked inside the Dry Valley cluster, and it stops a lot of players cold right before they can wrap up one of the game's longest chapters.
Where is the Throne of Truth located?
The Throne of Truth is an Abyss Restoration Challenge accessed through Spire of the Sun in Chapter 9, then through the Nest of Valor puzzle area. According to PowerPyx's documented solution, it sits within the Dry Valley cluster and is tied directly to the New Perspectives main quest, so you cannot miss it on a story playthrough.
How do you get through the moving gates?
When you first drop into the area from the Nest of Valor skybridge, two large gates are moving back and forth through the air in front of you. The solution here is simple but easy to overthink: climb onto one of the gates and ride it across to the far side. Let the gate carry you rather than trying to jump or glide across manually.
Once you land on the other side, drop into the hole in the ground below you. That sends you into the underground section where the actual puzzle begins.
info
Don't try to jump between the gates mid-swing. Board one gate cleanly from the edge and wait for it to complete its arc before dropping off.

How do you solve the wall button puzzle underground?
This is the part that trips most players up. Once underground, check the right side of the room and confirm that the 3 round wall plates are aligned so power is already flowing through them. That sets up the rest of the puzzle.
From there, activate Guiding Light (on PS5: L1 + R1, on Xbox: LB + RB, on PC: CTRL + Left Click) to follow the blue power line. It leads you to a wall with round buttons on it. Your goal is to turn every wall button blue by hitting them with Force Palm.
Here's the part the game doesn't explain well: you have to hang onto the button while you hit it, or the impact pushes you off the wall and you fall. Hold the Resist input (L2 on PS5, LT on Xbox, Q on PC) to stay attached, then fire Force Palm (R3 on PS5, Mouse Wheel on PC) while holding Resist.
warning
Hitting one button pushes out adjacent buttons. There is no single clean sequence that works every time. Work through them by trial and error, checking after each hit whether the power line has turned from yellow to blue.

Here's the sequence to follow:
Always use Guiding Light or the lantern between sections to confirm the power lines have turned blue before moving on. Yellow lines mean power is not flowing yet.
danger
You must always hit the button that is sticking out from the wall. Buttons that are flush with the surface are already activated. Only protruding buttons need Force Palm.
What do you do after all buttons turn blue?
Once every button glows blue and all power lines have turned from yellow to blue, locate the broken cable where the power is flowing toward. According to PowerPyx's walkthrough, this cable sits directly beneath where you dropped through the hole from above, so it is easy to find by following the blue line with your lantern active.
Interact with the broken cable to repair it. That fully restores power and completes the Abyss Restoration Challenge.
info
After completing the Throne of Truth, you return to the surface and use a wind turbine to glide across to the next skybridge, continuing the Chapter 9 story sequence.
The Throne of Truth is the last Abyss puzzle before the Dimensional Labyrinth, so finishing it means you are almost through Chapter 9's most demanding stretch. For more puzzles and walkthroughs across the full game, browse more guides on GAMES.GG.
