The Elements of Nature Star Path is Disney Dreamlight Valley's seasonal event tied to the Whispers of the Wind update, running from April 8 through around June 2, 2026. It coincides with Pocahontas joining the Valley as a new villager, and the reward pool is genuinely one of the more varied ones seen in recent Star Paths. You're looking at lava-themed furniture, three versions of a Perfect Petals Dress, a Flower Crown Nala Dream Style, a Sea Turtle companion, and the brand-new Giant Lotus Flower House sitting at the back of the Bonus Rewards pages. There are also 102 total duties to work through, according to Destructoid's coverage of the event.
Which Star Path should you buy?
The free version of the Star Path gives you 3 duties at a time and limits your reward access to 17 rewards across the pages. The premium version costs 2,500 Moonstones, bumps your active duties to 6 at once, and opens up 35 rewards (not counting Bonus Rewards). Premium players also get the ability to exchange leftover Tokens for up to 900 Moonstones at the end, which partially offsets the cost.
There's a third spend option: paying 3,300 Moonstones at the start of the premium path gives you 100 bonus Tokens immediately. That's a meaningful head start if you're targeting expensive rewards early, but it's not mandatory.
One key difference that often catches players off guard: free Star Path players must complete Routine Duties in order, week by week. Premium players can tackle them in any order. If you're planning to min-max your vault reward timing, that flexibility matters.

Moonstones can be earned without spending real money. Blue chests hidden around the Valley, Dream Snap challenge rewards, and bonuses from DLC purchases like Wishblossom Ranch all add to your total.
What are Vault Rewards?
Vault Rewards are the headline new feature introduced in this Star Path. They give you a second chance at items from older Star Paths that you may have missed. One Vault Reward unlocks for every three Routine Duties you complete, so working through all seven weeks of weekly tasks is the path to claiming all of them.

- Week 2 (April 15): Crystal Paving Stones
- Week 4 (April 29): Primary Vault Flower
- Week 6 (May 13): Spring Light Archway

If you already own a Vault Reward when it unlocks, you'll receive a random Red Chest as a substitute instead.
Premium players get access to additional Vault Rewards described as reimagined versions of past prizes.

Active duties and token costs
Farming, foraging, and fishing duties
- Harvest Zucchini (5 required): Buy seeds from Sunlit Plateau and plant them.
- Pick up Ginger (20 required): Forage in the Forgotten Lands.
- Pick up Mushrooms (20 required): Forage in the Glade of Trust.
- Harvest Cucumbers (50 required): Seeds come from Frosted Heights.
- Harvest different fruits (5 required): Pick apples, blueberries, or other biome fruits.
- Harvest any fruits or veggies (100 required): Long grind, but counts everything.
- Go fish! (5 required): Fish anywhere.
- Catch fish somewhere dazzling (10 required): Fish at Dazzle Beach.
- Fish in the Forest of Valor (10 required): Self-explanatory.
- Angle for an angler (3 required): Catch Anglerfish from the Forgotten Lands.
- Catch fish in gold ripples (10 required): Target gold bubble fishing spots for 50 Tokens.
Mining and gem duties
Several duties ask for color-specific gems. Here's what counts for each, per Destructoid:
- Blue gems: Aquamarine, Sapphire, Blue Zircon, Pure Ice, Star Sapphire (shiny versions count)
- Purple gems: Amethyst, Alexandrite (shiny versions count)
- Yellow gems: Citrine, Topaz (shiny versions count)
- Pink gems: Tourmaline, Dream Shards, Shiny Tourmaline
- Green gems: Emerald, Peridot (shiny versions count)
- Square gems: Amethyst, Emerald, Ruby, Sapphire, Topaz, Spinel
- Mine for something shiny (10 required): Any shiny gems, rewards 50 Tokens

The "Craft a potion you can really dig" duty accepts either an Even More Miraculous Shovel Varnish or a standard Miracle Shovel Varnish. Don't craft the more expensive version if you don't need to.
Crafting duties
- Get crafty! (3 items): Any crafting table items.
- Craft a Chest (1): Any chest.
- Craft Wood Fences (20): Dark Wood Fence, Green Bamboo Fence, Pale Wood Fence, Savanna Wooden Fence, White Bamboo Fence, White Picket Fence, Classic Farm Fence, Snowy Classic Farm Fence, and Snowy Rustic Log Fence all count.
- Craft paths (50): One of the bigger grinds in the event, but it pays 50 Tokens.
- Craft a Cooking Station (1): 20 Tokens.
- Craft a Crafting Station (1): 20 Tokens.
- Craft a mannequin (1): Any mannequin works.
- Craft a mailbox (1): Any mailbox.
- Pick up wood materials (100): Softwood, Hardwood, Dry Wood, Dark Wood, and Tropical Wood all count.
Villager and character duties
Several duties are tied to specific characters. Pocahontas duties are among the highest-paying in the event:
- Chat with one who sees the colors of the wind (1 daily chat with Pocahontas): 90 Tokens
- Give Pocahontas her favorite gift (1): 100 Tokens
- Hang out with one who sees the colors of the wind (30 minutes with Pocahontas): 100 Tokens
- Take a picture with Pocahontas (1): 100 Tokens
- Give Mickey Mouse his favorite gift (1): 10 Tokens
- Spend some time with Mickey Mouse (20 minutes): 20 Tokens
- Hang out with Scrooge McDuck (20 minutes): 20 Tokens
- Hang out with Merlin (20 minutes): 20 Tokens

Week 1 Routine Duties (April 8, 2026)
Routine Duties refresh each Wednesday at 1:00 PM UTC / 9:00 AM ET / 6:00 AM PT, per IGN's schedule notes.
- Give 10 daily requested items to villagers: 25 Tokens
- Purchase 30 Corn Seeds (from Dazzle Beach or Glittering Dunes): 25 Tokens

The Giant Lotus Flower House on Bonus Page 3 is also listed as a new Dream Style and home for Nala, per IGN's patch notes coverage. At 300 Tokens it's the single most expensive reward in the event, so plan your Token spending accordingly.
How do you earn Tokens efficiently?
The Pocahontas-tied duties are the most Token-dense in the event. Spending 30 minutes with her, giving her a gift, taking a photo, and having a daily chat nets 390 Tokens across just four duties. Prioritize unlocking Pocahontas through the Whispers of the Wind content before the event ends.
For passive grinding, the Uproot Night Thorns duty appears three separate times in the duty list (at 10, 10, and 20 thorns), and Night Thorns respawn daily. Pairing that with daily villager conversations and regular fishing sessions covers a lot of ground without requiring dedicated farming sessions.
The Craft paths duty (50 paths for 50 Tokens) is a time investment, but paths are cheap to craft and you can knock it out in one session at the crafting table.
