Disney Dreamlight Valley Guide: How to ...

The Toy Camera quest is one of the trickier missions in Disney Dreamlight Valley's Parks Fest event. Buzz Lightyear sends you back into the Toy Story Realm to photograph five specific items scattered across Bonnie's bedroom, and a couple of them are genuinely easy to walk past without noticing. This walkthrough covers every location in order so you can knock it out without the frustration of circling the same room for twenty minutes.

What does the Toy Camera quest ask you to do?

After speaking with Buzz Lightyear, he tasks you with heading into the Toy Story Realm and photographing five specific subjects for a scrapbook he's putting together for Woody. The five targets are:

  • A Ladybug
  • A Unicorn
  • Butterflies
  • Bonnie Anderson
  • Dolphins

None of these are characters wandering around the Realm. Every single one is a picture, drawing, or image displayed somewhere on the walls, shelves, or furniture inside Bonnie's bedroom. That's what makes this quest confusing at first: you're photographing artwork and decor, not live subjects.

How to find all five photo subjects in the Toy Story Realm

Ladybug location

The Ladybug sits inside a brown picture frame mounted on the wall near the Realm entrance. Enter the Toy Story Realm and walk up the ramp at the edge of the bed. Once you reach the top of the ramp, turn your camera back toward the entrance wall. The framed Ladybug image is sitting on top of the white wall paneling, positioned next to a blue letter B. It's easy to miss because you naturally face away from the entrance as you walk in.

Unicorn location

The Unicorn is one of the easier finds once you know where to look. The moment you step through the Realm entrance, look up and to your right. There are three drawings hanging on the wall directly beside the entrance. The Unicorn drawing is on the far left of that group. Snap the photo and move on.

Butterflies location

The Butterflies are the hardest of the five to find, and most players spend the most time hunting for these. Walk straight forward from the Realm entrance and keep going until you hit the far wall. Turn sharply left and walk under the large flower table. Look left again and you'll find a small playpen tucked against the right side of the bed in the corner of the room. Inside the playpen are small magenta origami butterflies, which are easy to overlook because of their size and color against the other toys.

Bonnie Anderson location

A framed photo of Bonnie Anderson (the little girl from Toy Story 3 who inherits Andy's toys) is what you're after here. Her photo is on the large white shelves near the Realm entrance. Head to the entrance, walk straight, then turn left and go up the bed ramp. From the top of the ramp, pan your camera over toward the white shelves close to the entrance. On the lower shelf you'll spot a purple-framed photo of Bonnie with a small white flower detail on it.

Dolphins location

The Dolphins are printed on the cover of a red book sitting on the bookshelf near the large green and orange flower table. From the Realm entrance, walk straight to the far end of the room toward that flower table. Look left and step slightly under the table to get a clear view of the bookshelf. The bright red book with two dolphins on the cover is hard to miss once you're standing in front of it.

What rewards do you get for completing Toy Camera?

Once you photograph all five subjects and return to Buzz in the valley, he rewards you with two exclusive Parks Fest decorations: the Toy Block Pillar and the Toy Block Stack. Both are part of the broader Toy Block reward set available through the Parks Fest event, so completing this quest gets you closer to filling out that collection.

Parks Fest has plenty of other missions running alongside Toy Camera, each with their own prizes. If you're working through the full event, check out our Disney Dreamlight Valley guide collection for walkthroughs on the other quests and puzzles you'll encounter.

For players who want to keep the quest momentum going, the Olaf's Grand Exhibition quest walkthrough and the A Tangled Web quest walkthrough are solid next stops if you haven't cleared those yet. Disney Dreamlight Valley sits comfortably in the adventure games space, and Parks Fest is one of the more content-dense events the game has run, so there's no shortage of things to work through.
