The Tarciane Destined for Glory SBC is live in EA Sports FC 27 FUT, and it's one of the better defensive pickups from the promo so far. One squad, no chemistry headaches, and a Brazilian center-back who plays for Lyon at the top of her game. Here's everything you need to complete it without overspending.
Quick Answer: The Tarciane SBC requires a total grading score of 18,750 with a minimum OVR of 45 per item. The cheapest route uses 23 x 84-rated common cards for roughly 16,100 coins. The SBC expires October 11, 2026.
How does the score-based SBC system work?
FC 27 replaced the old chemistry-based squad format with a flat grading score system. Every card in your club carries a fixed score value, and your only job is to submit enough cards to hit the required total. No league links, no nationality requirements, no formation restrictions.
For the Tarciane SBC, the target is 18,750 grading score points. The one actual rule: every submitted item must be at least OVR 45, which rules out the very bottom of the fodder barrel but leaves almost everything else fair game.
This makes the SBC much more accessible than older formats. Got a pile of untradeable duplicates from packs? Dump them here. High-rated fodder you've been sitting on? Same deal. The system rewards players who've been hoarding efficiently.
What are the cheapest solutions for the Tarciane SBC?
After testing combinations across different rating tiers, here are the three most practical routes depending on what's in your club.
Solution comparison table
Option 1 is the clear winner on raw cost. Twenty-three 84-rated commons at roughly 700 coins each gets you to 19,090 score with a 340-point surplus. Total spend sits around 16,100 coins, which is the floor for this SBC on consoles.
Option 2 cuts the card count down to 9 by using 85-rated commons instead, each worth 2,100 score points. The tradeoff is a higher per-card price of around 2,000 coins, pushing the total to 18,000. Worth it if you already have a few 85s sitting untradeable.
Option 3 mixes 87s and 86s for the highest surplus (450 points) but also the highest cost at around 20,400 coins. Skip this one unless you're clearing out duplicates you'd never use elsewhere.
Is the Tarciane Destined for Glory card worth it?
Here's the short answer: yes, especially if you're building a Brazilian or Lyon-linked squad.
Tarciane carries a grading score of 1,038 on her special card, which is high enough that she functions as quality fodder herself if you ever need to recycle her into a future SBC. The card's primary value is as a defensive anchor, with elite physical stats backing up her real-life profile as one of the best center-backs in the women's game.
The chemistry links are genuinely useful. As a Brazilian playing for Lyon in the Première Ligue, she connects cleanly into hybrid squads that run South American players alongside French league talent. That flexibility matters more than people give it credit for in the current meta.
Cost on PC runs slightly higher at around 18,300 coins versus the console estimate of 17,250. Either way, the card's reward value relative to the spend makes this a reasonable pull for anyone who needs a top-tier CB.
Who is Tarciane?
Tarciane Karen dos Santos de Lima has built one of the most impressive defensive resumes in women's football over the past few years. She dominated the Brazilian domestic scene with Corinthians, picking up multiple Brasileiro Feminino and Copa Libertadores titles before making a record-breaking move to the Houston Dash in 2024.
The trajectory kept climbing. She joined Olympique Lyonnais in 2025, one of the most decorated clubs in European women's football. On the international stage, she was a cornerstone of the Brazil side that won Silver at the Paris 2024 Olympics and claimed the 2025 Copa América Femenina. A Ballon d'Or shortlist appearance in 2024 confirmed what her performances had been saying for years.
The Destined for Glory card is a direct nod to that rise. It's not a stretch to call her one of the best defenders in the game right now, and the SBC card reflects that.
How to complete the Tarciane SBC efficiently
The mistake most players make with score-based SBCs is buying cards before checking what they already own. Before spending a single coin:
- Open your club and filter by untradeable items rated 84 or above
- Check for duplicate players you have no squad use for
- Look at any high-rated cards from old promos that are no longer relevant to your current build
Only buy from the transfer market to fill the gap. If you need to purchase, 84-rated common cards remain the most cost-efficient option at the time of writing, but prices shift throughout the day. Early morning and late evening tend to offer better rates.
