The Ultimate Scream promo in EA Sports FC 27 is live, and the Token Store is already stocked with exclusive players, evolutions, and packs. The two opening objective groups hand out a combined 730 tokens if you complete everything, but the top rewards cost significantly more than that. Knowing exactly where tokens come from and what to spend them on first is the difference between landing Jill Scott or walking away with a handful of 75+ gold packs.

How many Ultimate Scream Tokens can you earn?

Here's the short answer: 730 tokens are confirmed across the two opening objective groups. Additional tokens from Flash Rush and Ghoul Fest events have been announced but their exact quantities are unconfirmed. The campaign total remains open.

SourceTokensNotes
Phantom Playgrounds4507 objectives at 50 each, plus 100 group bonus
Ultimate Scream Puzzle Completionist2806 SBC objectives at 30 each, plus 100 group bonus
Flash RushUnconfirmedTwo events per week of the campaign
Ghoul FestUnconfirmedSecond-week No Rules event
Opening groups combined730Requires completing every objective

Even with all 730 unspent, you are 170 short of Juan Sebastián Verón and 770 short of Jill Scott. Pick a target before spending anything.

How to complete Phantom Playgrounds fast

Phantom Playgrounds awards 50 tokens per objective and a 100-token group bonus for finishing all seven. Every objective counts progress in Squad Battles (minimum Semi-Pro difficulty), Rivals, Live Events, Rush, and Champions. Squad Battles is the most controllable option because you pick the full lineup.

The Red CountessScore chip shot goals in 5 separate matches with a Hungarian player starting50

How to stack objectives in one squad

The mistake most players make is running separate squads for each nationality objective. Start players from Hungary, the USA, Iceland, Scotland, and Turkey together. Use cards already in your club to avoid burning coins on temporary starters.

If you already own an Ultimate Scream card, start them immediately to begin chipping away at Spirit Harvest's 50-goal requirement. Give your outside-the-box attempts to any player with 4+ weak foot.

Here's a 15-match plan as a baseline:

| Match range | Focus | |---|---|---| | Matches 1-5 | Register a through-ball assist every match; add chip shots and outside-the-box goals where possible | | Matches 6-10 | Continue through-ball assists; complete the 10 separate-match outside-the-box requirement | | Matches 11-15 | Finish 15 through-ball matches and reach 13 wins | | Throughout | Accumulate 10 headers and, once a Scream starter is in, score 50 goals |

Do you need Jeppe Tverskov for Spirit Harvest?

Jeppe Tverskov (83 OVR CB) costs 50 tokens and counts as an Ultimate Scream player. Only consider him if you have no other qualifying Scream card and plan to finish Spirit Harvest. His 50-token cost reduces your hero budget directly.

If you pick him up after completing Gulyabani's Wrath (7 matches), you have roughly 8 matches left in the 15-match plan to score 50 goals, which works out to 6.25 per match. Allow extra matches if that pace is unrealistic for your squad.

Skip Tverskov entirely if you already have a qualifying Scream card or are not chasing Spirit Harvest.

How to earn 280 tokens through Puzzle SBCs

The Ultimate Scream Puzzle Completionist objective links six daily SBCs. Each SBC you complete unlocks its 30-token objective reward. Finishing all six triggers the 100-token group bonus, bringing the total to 280.

The six SBCs and their release schedule:

  • Spooky Nights (October 23)
  • Scary Candy (October 24)
  • Boo Hoo Party (October 25)
  • Freaky Zombie (October 26)
  • Pumpkin Seeds (October 27)
  • Hocus Pocus (October 28)

Check the SBC menu for availability and expiry timers before building squads. Spooky Nights requires 7 players with at least 3 from the same nation, no more than 4 from one league, at least 3 Gold players, and a minimum of 14 chemistry. Use expendable untradeables first to keep your coin spend on fodder low.

Saïd El Mala (300 tokens): best for early attackers

El Mala is an 85 OVR ST with 90 pace and 85 shooting, playable at ST, LM, CAM, or LW. At 300 tokens he is the most accessible named player in the store. The catch is 3-star weak foot, which limits finishing from his non-dominant side. Worth it if he fills a starting slot; easy to skip if your attack is already sorted.

Enzo Le Fée (550 tokens): mobile midfield option

Le Fée is an 86 OVR LM/CM/CAM/LW with 87 pace, 84 passing, and 88 dribbling. His 68 physical is the main concern in physical midfield battles. Spending 550 leaves you 180 tokens from the opening 730, which puts Verón another 720 tokens away. Take him if he starts immediately in your squad; save if you are targeting Verón.

The Haunted Wall Evolution (500 tokens): defensive upgrade

Entry requirements cap at 81 OVR, 85 pace, and 7 PlayStyles. The finished card caps at 84 OVR overall, with acceleration and sprint speed capped at 78. Preview the finished card before redeeming. This evolution suits a specific player you already own whose result genuinely improves your backline, not a speculative purchase.

Verón (900 tokens) vs Jill Scott (1,500 tokens)

Verón offers 88 passing and 86 shooting at CAM and CM. Scott brings 85 defending and 90 physical at CB, CDM, and CM. They address completely different squad gaps: creative midfield versus defensive physicality.

Scott costs 600 tokens more than Verón. Target her only if her defensive roles fill a greater need and your token earnings reach 1,500. For most squads, Verón's creative output at 900 tokens is the cleaner spend.

All Ultimate Scream Player Items receive one face stat at 99 and full in-position chemistry for one week from November 24, 2026. This covers Tverskov, El Mala, Le Fée, Verón, and Scott. The boost expires after one week, so weigh lasting squad value alongside the temporary upgrade.

Should you buy the 800-token Team 1 Guarantee Pack?

The pack guarantees a promo category card but not a position or player you need. It saves only 100 tokens compared to Verón while delivering an unknown untradeable result. Reserve your budget for a named player unless you are genuinely comfortable with any outcome from the promo pool.

Deadlines to know

The Phantom Playgrounds and Puzzle SBC objectives have their own deadlines. The Token Store closes on November 13, 2026. The store's closing date does not extend objective timers, so do not assume you have until November 13 to complete the earning tasks.

All Ultimate Scream Player Items receive their stat boost from November 24, 2026 for one week.

Frequently asked questions

Can you earn all tokens offline?

Phantom Playgrounds supports Squad Battles and Puzzle SBCs are SBC-only, so the opening 730 are earnable offline. Flash Rush and Ghoul Fest have separate requirements that are not yet confirmed, so earning every campaign token offline is not established.

Is 730 the maximum available?

No. It covers the two opening objective groups. Live events will add further opportunities, but the campaign total is unconfirmed.

Should you spend tokens immediately or save?

Spend for an immediate squad need you can identify right now. Otherwise, save until further event payouts are known. The store stays open until November 13, giving you time to accumulate before committing.

Which rewards are worth it at different budgets?

If your squad needs an attacker, El Mala at 300 tokens is the cleanest spend. If midfield mobility is the gap, Le Fée at 550 is the pick. If neither improves your starting 11, save toward Verón at 900.
