Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 Patch Notes ...

Chapter 7 Season 3 brings six Mythic-tier items to Fortnite, split between boss drops and hidden world events. Three come from taking down named bosses, and three require you to interact with the map in ways the game barely explains. None of them are guaranteed Mythic rarity every time, which makes knowing exactly where to go and what to do even more important.

What are all the Mythics in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3?

Season 3 has six Mythic items total. Three drop from bosses, and three come from specific map interactions. Here's the full list at a glance:

How to get the boss Mythics

The three boss-tied Mythics come from Voidblade, Wolfe, and Skeletor. None of these bosses have fixed spawn points, so you'll need to track them down each match. Defeating any of them guarantees a weapon drop, but whether it rolls as Mythic or Legendary depends on your modifiers.

  • Voidblade drops the Surgical Burst Rifle
  • Wolfe drops the Maven Auto Shotgun
  • Skeletor drops the Extending Focus Shotgun

The fights themselves are manageable once you learn the attack patterns, but the real problem is the contested drops. Other players will push the moment a boss goes down, so have an escape plan ready.

For a full breakdown of where to find each boss and how to beat them, the Chapter 7 Season 2 boss locations and Mythic rewards guide covers the boss-hunting approach in detail.

How to get the 9mm Baba Yaga

The 9mm Baba Yaga is tied to a Battle Pass quest: rescue and pet John Wick's Dog. The dog is in the southernmost building at Sinister Strip. Once you find and pet it, the pistol drops automatically.

The catch is that Sinister Strip is a high-traffic POI. Bodyguards patrol the area and will actively interfere with the rescue, and other players know exactly where the dog spawns. Drop there early, clear the guards, then secure the pet interaction before anyone else gets there.

How to get the Mythic Striker Pump Shotgun

The Mythic Striker Pump Shotgun comes from completing the Duck Race, which you trigger from a bridge north of Heatwave Harbor. Once started, ducks swim downstream and collide with boxes, knocking loot out of them. You can grab items mid-race, but the Mythic Striker Pump only has a chance to appear once the race finishes.

If your luck is off, you'll pull a Legendary Striker Pump instead. The race itself is straightforward, but the Mythic spawn is not guaranteed, so don't make it your primary drop target if you need a weapon immediately.

How to get the Limitless Seven Sliders

The Limitless Seven Sliders is the only non-weapon Mythic in Season 3. Unlike regular Seven Sliders, the Limitless variant has no capacity limit, meaning you can slide indefinitely. That makes it genuinely useful for repositioning and escaping the storm.

To get it, head to Sinister Strip and find the Prison building directly across from the large Sprite hologram in the center of the POI. Go inside, take the stairs down, and locate the locked cell. Before the cell opens, you need to deactivate both the North Prison Security Grid and the South Prison Security Grid. Once both are off, the cell unlocks and the Seven Sliders spawn inside.

Sinister Strip hosts both the Baba Yaga dog rescue and the Prison Cell, so planning a route that hits both in one drop is efficient if you're hunting non-boss Mythics.

Which Mythics are worth prioritizing?

Boss drops require you to win a fight against a named enemy and then survive the post-kill contest with other players. That's a high-risk play. The Duck Race and Prison Cell routes are more consistent if you can get there before the lobby converges.

The Limitless Seven Sliders stands out as a mobility tool with no direct equivalent in the loot pool, making it valuable even if you already have a strong weapon setup. The Maven Auto Shotgun from Wolfe is the most aggressive close-range option of the three boss weapons, but all three are competitive at Mythic rarity.

For more context on how boss weapons and Mythic loot work this chapter, the Chapter 7 boss weapons guide breaks down each weapon's kit abilities in detail.
