Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 packs in more quest content than most recent seasons, stacking weekly challenges, a story-driven quest line centered on the Dark Voyager, and a revived Battle Pass quest system that unlocks exclusive skin styles. Each quest awards a flat 20,000 XP, so the fastest path to maxing your Battle Pass is knowing exactly what to do before you drop in. This guide breaks down every quest category, every reward, and the fastest routes to clear them.

Weekly quests tab overview
When do new weekly quests unlock?
Epic Games drops fresh weekly quests every Thursday at 9 AM ET. You find them under the Quests tab, inside the Weekly Highlights section. Eight weeks of challenges are planned for the season, so there is a consistent XP pipeline as long as you check in each week. Miss a week and you can still complete older challenges, so nothing is permanently locked out.
Knock out multiple quests in a single match whenever objectives overlap. Week 1's "damage players before the first Storm Phase closes" and "headshot enemy players" quests can both progress in the same early-game fight.
All weekly quests and XP rewards
Every individual weekly quest awards 20,000 XP on completion. The table below lists every week's challenges in full.
For a focused breakdown of the earliest challenges, our Week 1 quest walkthrough covers every objective with specific location tips.

Holotable interaction prompt
What's the fastest way to clear weekly quests?
The key here is stacking quests that share the same POI. Frigid Fortress appears in Week 1 (land there), Week 2 (destroy objects, defeat the Ice King), and Week 7 (hit opponents there). Dropping at Frigid Fortress across multiple sessions lets you chip away at several weeks simultaneously. Dark Dominion and New Sanctuary follow the same pattern, showing up repeatedly throughout the season.
For the Holotable quests in Weeks 3, 4, 7, and 8, you need to interact with a Holotable to decrypt recordings from specific Seven members. These are fixed interactables on the map, so check our full Chapter 7 Season 2 map and POI guide to pinpoint every Holotable location before dropping.
The Ice King boss encounter for Week 2 can be contested by multiple squads. Drop at Frigid Fortress early and secure the boss fight before other players arrive, or you risk losing the elimination credit.
Path of the Voyager: story quests explained
The Path of the Voyager quest line ties directly into the season's narrative. The Dark Voyager is orchestrating the conflict between Team Foundation and Team Ice King, and your job is to track down Chaos Cubes scattered across the map.
Completing the full collection of 70 Chaos Cubes awards 80,000 XP in one hit. On top of that, each individual POI collection (5 Cubes per location) rewards 4,000 XP per Cube, meaning you earn XP incrementally as you find them rather than waiting until the very end.
Where to find Chaos Cubes
Chaos Cubes appear at 10 named locations, with 5 Cubes at each:
- Dark Dominion
- Battlewood Boulevard
- Painted Palms
- Wonkeeland
- Sus Studios
- Humble Hills
- Fore Fields
- Latte Landing
- New Sanctuary
- Elites Outpost
The Path of the Voyager quest line is not time-gated like weekly quests. You can collect Chaos Cubes across as many matches as needed, making it a reliable background grind throughout the season.

Battle Pass quests: how do they work?
Epic brought back Battle Pass quests this season, and they function differently from weekly challenges. These are multi-stage quest chains tied to specific Battle Pass skins: The Foundation (Reforged), Exalted Ice King, and Elite Jules. Completing each stage unlocks a bonus style for the corresponding skin.
Exalted Ice King quest stages
- Stage 1: Place in the top 25
- Stage 2: Plant monitoring devices at Painted Palms, Dark Dominion, and New Sanctuary
- Stage 3: Collect 5 epic or better rarity items
- Stage 4: Deal 200 damage with the Ice King's Gauntlets or other legendary weapons
- Stage 5: Check the monitoring reports at Frigid Fortress
- Stage 6: Defeat any boss
- Stage 7: Hire or defeat The Foundation
Elite Jules quest stages
- Stage 1: Complete 30 Daily Bonus Goals in Battle Royale, OG, Blitz, or Reload
- Stage 2: Headshot 10 players
- Stage 3: Travel 2,000 distance with full shields
- Stage 4: Deal 750 damage after the first Storm Phase closes
- Stage 5: Outlast 100 players after collecting a rare or better weapon
- Stage 6: Eliminate 15 players with epic or better weapons
- Stage 7: Collect 10 legendary or better weapons
- Stage 8: Reach top 25 with 5 eliminations
The Foundation Reforged quest stages
- Stage 1: Visit vantage points at the waterfall southwest of Frigid Fortress, Squibbly's Point Lighthouse, and the Battlewood sign
- Stage 2: Find The Foundation's lost helmet at the coast southwest of Battlewood Boulevard and the cape near Wonkeeland
- Stage 3: Ask The Order, Jones, or The Visitor about working with The Foundation
- Stage 4: Destroy 3 comms repeaters at Frigid Fortress
- Stage 5: Hire The Foundation or any other Specialist
- Stage 6: Hit 3 headshots with the Vector 7 DMR
- Stage 7: Defeat the Ice King
What most players miss is that the Elite Jules chain is the most time-intensive of the three. Stage 1 alone requires 30 Daily Bonus Goals, which means spreading this quest across multiple days rather than hammering it in a single session. Plan accordingly.
The Foundation Reforged and Exalted Ice King chains both require defeating the Ice King at some point. Stack these with the Week 2 weekly quest to clear three objectives in a single boss run.
What rewards do Battle Pass quests unlock?
Each completed stage in the Battle Pass quest chains unlocks a bonus style for the linked skin. The three skins with unlockable styles are The Foundation (Reforged), Exalted Ice King, and Elite Jules. These styles are only available through quest completion, not through Battle Pass page progression, so you need to actively work through the chains to get them.
Pro tips for maximizing XP this season
- Prioritize multi-objective drops. Frigid Fortress, Dark Dominion, and New Sanctuary appear across weekly quests, story quests, and Battle Pass quest chains. Every match at these POIs has the potential to advance several trackers at once.
- Use Holotables efficiently. Four separate weekly quests (Weeks 3, 4, 7, and 8) require Holotable interactions. Knowing where every Holotable sits before the match saves time and avoids wasted rotations.
- Don't sleep on the Chaos Cube grind. 80,000 XP for the full 70-Cube collection is one of the largest single-quest payouts in the season. Picking up Cubes as a secondary objective during normal matches means you clear it without dedicating full sessions to it.
- The Elite Jules chain rewards consistent daily play. Thirty Daily Bonus Goals is not a sprint, it's a marathon. Log in daily rather than trying to batch it.
