Fortnite's weekly quest cycle rolls on, and Chapter 7 Season 2 Week 2 brings five fresh challenges tied directly to the ongoing conflict between the Ice King and the Foundation. Each quest rewards 20,000 XP, so knocking out all five nets you a solid 100,000 XP toward your Battle Pass. Here's exactly what you need to do and the fastest way to do it.
What are the Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 2 Week 2 Quests?
Epic dropped five quests on March 26, 2026. The full list, along with each reward, is below.
The quests are straightforward compared to some past weeks, but a couple of them require you to be in the right place at the right time.
How to Complete Each Week 2 Quest

Ice King spawn locations
Eliminate opponents with Mythic or Exotic weapons (1 kill)
This one counts as an armory evaluation, so you need to land the final blow with either a Mythic or Exotic weapon. The quickest approach is to loot aggressively early, prioritize named POIs where floor loot tends to be higher rarity, and check any named NPCs who sell Exotics. One elimination is all it takes, so even a late-game cleanup kill works.
If you find a Mythic weapon early, hold onto it rather than swapping it out. One kill with it and this quest is done.
Destroy objects at Frigid Fortress (10 objects)
Frigid Fortress is the focal point for this quest. Drop there directly and start breaking down structures, crates, barrels, or any destructible object in the area. Ten objects is a low bar, and you can clear it in under two minutes if the zone is quiet. Landing here early before other players arrive gives you the cleanest run.

How to defeat the Ice King
The Ice King is a boss encounter tied to specific spawn locations on the map. He's not a pushover, so come prepared with shields topped off and a solid loadout before engaging. Once you find his location, focus fire and use cover to avoid his attacks. Completing the Frigid Fortress destruction quest in the same drop makes sense since both quests revolve around the same area of the map.
The Ice King is a contested spawn. Expect other players to be hunting him too, especially early in the season. Clear nearby opponents before engaging the boss or you'll get third-partied mid-fight.
Outlast players (50 players)
This one completes itself naturally if you play a few matches with survival in mind. Landing at a quieter spot on the map, looting safely, and avoiding early fights will rack up outlasted players quickly. You don't need to eliminate anyone for this quest, just stay alive longer than 50 other players across one or more matches.
Dropping at the edge of the map and rotating with the storm is the most reliable way to outlast players without putting yourself in danger.
Purchase items or services from vending machines or characters (3 purchases)
You need 3 total purchases, which can come from vending machines or named NPCs scattered around the map. Gold Bars are the currency here, so loot chests and eliminate players to stock up before heading to a vendor. Three purchases go fast if you plan your rotation around known NPC locations.
Is the Week 2 quest difficulty reasonable?
Honestly, yes. Five quests with clear objectives and no particularly obscure requirements makes this a good week for players who want XP without frustration. The Ice King fight is the only real challenge, and even that is manageable with a decent loadout. The outlast quest is entirely passive, and the vending machine quest just requires you to have Gold Bars ready.
The bigger question is whether Epic will keep the weekly count at five or expand it later in the season. Week 1 set the precedent, and Week 2 matches it exactly. For now, five quests per week seems to be the rhythm for Chapter 7 Season 2.
