the soccer field in Fortnite Chapter 7 ...

The soccer field in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3 is one of the most contested unnamed POIs on the map right now. It ties directly into the new Sprite system, and the reward for scoring a goal there is the Striker Sprite, which grants the Overdrive effect every time you mantle, hurdle, or wall scramble. That movement bonus alone makes it worth the trip.

Where is the soccer field in Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 3?

The soccer field sits in the bottom left corner of the map, on an island southeast of Heatwave Harbor and west of Sunken Shores. Because it's an unnamed POI, there's no label to guide you on the map. The easiest way to spot it is to look for a blue rectangle on the island. Unlike the standard green pitches you might expect, this one is bright blue and stands out clearly once you know what you're looking for.

The catch is that the extraction point at center field doesn't activate until after the first storm circle closes. Landing early means you'll be fighting for the Striker Sprite without any way to extract it immediately, so arriving with a solid loadout later in the match is the smarter play.

How to get the Striker Sprite at the soccer field

Scoring a goal is straightforward. The soccer ball spawns next to the extraction point at center field at the start of each match. Run into it to dribble it toward either net, then knock it across the goal line. The moment the ball crosses into the goal, it transforms into a Striker Sprite you can pick up.

A few things to keep in mind:

  • Each player can only claim one Striker Sprite, so scoring additional goals won't stack rewards.
  • Each goalpost produces only one Sprite, meaning two players can score at opposite ends for two separate Sprites total.
  • If another player has already moved the ball away from center field, check both ends of the pitch before assuming it's gone.

What if the soccer ball is already gone?

If you arrive and the ball has already been scored or is nowhere to be found, there's a backup option. Players who own the Soccer Ball Toy from the Chapter 2 Season 6 Battle Pass can deploy their own ball in front of either goal and score with it. As long as you're the first to put the ball in that net, the Sprite will appear.

The Striker Sprite can also drop from Sprite Chests scattered across the map, though the drop rate is noticeably lower than just scoring at the field. If you want a guaranteed Striker Sprite, the soccer field is still the most reliable route.

What does the Striker Sprite actually do?

The Overdrive effect activates automatically whenever you perform a movement tech action: mantling over a ledge, hurdling an obstacle, or wall scrambling. It's a passive mobility boost that rewards players who move aggressively through the environment rather than sitting still. Pair it with the Punk Sprite's RNG effects for a chaotic but high-upside Sprite loadout, or keep the Striker Sprite solo if you want consistent, predictable movement gains.
