Fortnite added rapper Yeat to the Chapter 7 Season 4 map with Update 42.40, and he brings one of the cleanest free rewards in the season: the HeliMan Jam Track, claimable at no cost by completing a short bell-collecting quest. The whole thing takes under five minutes when you know the layout, but the 3-minute timer has caught plenty of players off guard. Here's every step, every bell location, and every shortcut to make sure you walk away with the track before the October 31 deadline.

What do you need before starting Yeat's quest?

The only requirement is the free Quest Pack from the Item Shop. Grab it before you drop into a match, and the bell-collecting objective becomes available the moment you speak to Yeat on the map. No V-Bucks purchase is needed, and the paid Yeat Outfit bundle is completely separate from this reward.

A few other things worth knowing upfront:

  • You do not need the Fortnite Festival Music Pass to claim the HeliMan Jam Track.
  • To actually play the track back during a match, you need the Jam Track Player app loaded under your Emote Wheel. That's a separate step from completing the quest itself.
  • The quest runs until October 31, 2026. Once Chapter 7 Season 4 ends, Yeat leaves the map and the track is no longer available through this method.

Where is Yeat's location in Fortnite?

Yeat stands on the mountain between Nightmare Neighborhood and Wonkeeland, directly north of the Reality's Reign POI. The tall Zipline tower is the clearest visual landmark; Yeat is positioned right next to its base.

Drop there early in the match while the area is quiet. The NPC marker appears on your minimap once the free Quest Pack is loaded, so finding him on a fresh drop is straightforward even if you haven't played Update 42.40 before.

How to complete Yeat's quest

The flow is short: talk to Yeat, pick the right dialogue options, collect all 5 bells around the tower, and return before the timer hits zero. Most players finish with 30 to 60 seconds left on the clock if they land clean.

  1. Land at the Zipline tower north of Reality's Reign and walk up to Yeat to open the conversation.
  2. Select the dialogue option "Unreleased Music" when prompted.
  3. Follow up with "I just heard HeliMAn..." to lock in the quest.
  4. A 3-minute countdown starts immediately after the dialogue ends. Move without stopping.
  5. Collect all 5 bells scattered around the tower area (see locations below). Hold your Interact keybind on each one.
  6. Return to Yeat before the timer expires and speak to him again to receive the HeliMan Jam Track.
  7. Open your Locker to confirm the track is there, then equip the Jam Track Player under your Emote Wheel if you want to use it mid-match.

If you get eliminated during the run, the bells reset next match and the quest restarts with a fresh timer. There's no progress lost beyond that single attempt.

Where are all 5 bell locations near the Zipline tower?

All five bells sit within a short radius of the Zipline tower base. You can collect them in any order, but the route below minimizes backtracking and leaves the most time on the clock.

BellLocationRoute tip
Red BellBelow the Accender, south side of the towerClosest to Yeat's platform; grab it first
Green BellBehind the Battle Bus, west sideUse the zipline cable as a visual guide to stay on course
Silver BellTop of the building, east sideOften partially hidden; listen for the soft hum when you're close
Blue BellFirst platform on the Zipline towerClimb the tower structure; it's on the initial landing
Glitter BellVery top of the Zipline towerSave this for last; descending puts you naturally back toward Yeat

Tips for finishing the quest before the timer runs out

The 3-minute window is tight if you're unfamiliar with the tower layout, but generous once you've done it once. A few things that make a real difference:

  • Drop directly on the tower. Every second you spend looting nearby buildings before starting the quest is a second off the clock.
  • Listen for the bell hum. Each bell emits a soft audio cue when you're nearby, which is faster than scanning the minimap, especially on controller.
  • Use the Glitter Bell as your endpoint. Climbing to the top and descending puts you on the natural path back to Yeat, cutting the return walk significantly.
  • Don't fight for the bells. If another squad drops in, grab the closest two and restart on a fresh match rather than burning time on a fight you might lose.
  • XP carries over. Even failed runs keep the XP earned during them, so there's no downside to dropping again.

What reward do you get for completing Yeat's quest?

Completing the bell run rewards the HeliMan Jam Track, which is added directly to your Fortnite Locker. It's tied to Yeat's "rage" sound and is the only way to earn it for free during Chapter 7 Season 4. Other Yeat-related Jam Tracks exist in the game but require separate unlocks.

The HeliMan track can be played back in Battle Royale matches using the Jam Track Player under the Emote Wheel, which is a separate feature from the quest itself.
