How to find John Wick's dog at The Battlewoods
The Battlewoods hides the dog underground. Head to the northeast corner of the POI and look for the sewer entrance. You can enter through the circular opening on land or drop into the river and swim into the large open entrance that leads inside.
Once you're in the sewer, move toward the center of the tunnel. The dog will be locked in a cage with NPC guards patrolling nearby. You'll need to deal with those guards before you can free the animal.
How to find John Wick's dog at Sinister Strip
If the sewer at The Battlewoods is empty, the dog is at Sinister Strip. Head to the middle south end of the POI and enter the large building there. Walk through any door and find the main entryway, a big room with a grand staircase. The dog's cage sits in the center of that room, directly in front of the stairs.
The same rules apply here: NPC guards are present, and you'll need to take them out before interacting with the cage.
How to unlock John Wick's dog as a Sidekick
Once you've located the dog, the process is straightforward:
- Defeat the NPC guards surrounding the cage.
- Interact with the cage to free the dog.
- Pet the dog to complete the quest and add it to your collection.
If another player has already freed the dog before you arrive, skip straight to step three. The guards won't be there, and you can unlock the Sidekick without any combat.
