Claim cosmetics without V-Bucks

What should you expect while opening chests?

Search chests across Crossbones Isle
Epic has not published an official Pirate Shop Token drop rate. There is no reliable percentage or chest count that tells you when one will appear, and opening more chests does not guarantee access.
Where should you land to search for tokens?
Arlong Park and Lantern Landing are useful starting points for a chest-focused route. The locations are close to one another, and you can continue toward Windmill Village and Loguetown to keep searching beyond your initial landing spot.
The practical goal is to open plenty of chests during the match. Start at Arlong Park or Lantern Landing, search the buildings, and continue through the nearby locations rather than relying on a single chest to deliver the rare drop.

Does everyone in your party get Pirate Shop access?
Yes. If someone in your party finds Pirate Shop access, the rest of the party receives it too. You do not need every teammate to discover a separate winning chest. That makes a shared Battle Royale session especially rewarding if the rare drop appears.
Party rewards and token transfers are different mechanics. The chest grants access to the party when the reward is found, but an earned Pirate Shop Access Token is non-transferable. You cannot give your token to another account afterward.
How do you activate Pirate Shop access?
Once you have earned a token, return to the lobby and open the Item Shop. Look for the Pirate Shop option labeled Plunder the Item Shop or PLUNDER THE SHOP, then open the activation screen.
Follow these steps when you are ready:
- Enter the Item Shop after returning to the lobby.
- Select the Pirate Shop plunder option.
