Search the regular loot on Crossbones Isle for Zoro's Three Sword Style: the Epic melee weapon appears in chests and as floor loot in Fortnite's Treasure Hunters season. No outfit purchase is required. Once equipped, it gives you a 160-damage Slash combo and a charged, 100-damage Dash that deflects frontal bullets while charging. The catch is range. You need to reach your opponent before those sword hits matter, especially if you're chasing the 700-damage One Piece quest.
Where can you find Zoro's Three Sword Style?
Treasure Chests, the season's themed regular chests, are your main target. Zoro's Three Sword Style has Epic rarity, and finding it depends on random loot drops. There is no guaranteed chest location that hands you the swords every match.
Floor loot is worth checking as you move between chests. In Treasure Hunters Battle Royale and Zero Build, search the same loot spots you would normally check for weapons and shields. Three Sword Style is also in the Reload loot pool.
How should you search for the swords?
Choose a landing area with several loot spots, then work through nearby chests while checking loose weapons along the way. A location with multiple chances at loot makes more sense than chasing a supposed fixed sword spawn.
- Open nearby Treasure Chests and check their drops.
- Inspect floor loot as you move through the area.
- Keep a firearm while searching so you can fight before finding the swords.
- Continue through normal loot spots if the first chests do not drop Three Sword Style.

Do you need to buy Zoro's Outfit?
You can collect and use Three Sword Style while wearing any Outfit. Zoro's Outfit is scheduled to reach the Item Shop on November 7, 2026, but the weapon is already part of Treasure Hunters gameplay loot. Buying the Outfit does not guarantee a sword drop.
If you're also planning your seasonal cosmetic unlocks, check the Treasure Hunters Battle Pass skins. The sword hunt itself comes down to looting, not choosing a particular Outfit.
How do Slash and Dash work?
Equip Zoro's Three Sword Style through your inventory to wield all three katanas. Its main damage attacks are Slash, activated with the Fire action, and Dash, charged with the ADS action. Follow your HUD prompts if you have changed your bindings.
The damage values below apply to the weapon introduced with v43.00. Balance updates can change weapon stats and cooldowns.
| Attack | Input action | Damage | Main purpose |
|---|---|---|---|
| First Slash hit | Fire | 45 | Begin a close-range combo |
| Second Slash hit | Fire | 45 | Continue the combo |
| Third Slash hit | Fire | 70 | Finish the combo with its strongest hit |
| Complete Slash combo | Three consecutive Slash hits | 160 total | Deal sustained melee damage |
| Charged Dash | Hold ADS to charge | 100 on contact | Close distance and hit an opponent |
Why does the third Slash matter?
The opening Slash hits deal 45 damage each, but the third rises to 70. That puts the full sequence at 160 damage. Landing the finisher matters because it contributes more damage than either opening hit.
Slash needs close range. Use it once you have reached your opponent rather than swinging while they remain beyond sword reach. If they pull away, reassess the distance instead of chasing across open ground just to finish the sequence.
What does the charged Dash do?
Hold the ADS action to charge Dash, then launch toward an opponent. A connecting Dash deals 100 damage, and launching it starts a 12-second cooldown. That makes it both an attack and a way to reach a better position.
Three Sword Style has no durability limit, so using its attacks does not wear it out. Dash still has its cooldown, though. Having an unbreakable weapon does not mean you can repeat the charged attack whenever you like.

How do you close the gap and deflect bullets?
Your approach is the difficult part of using Three Sword Style. A distant opponent can shoot while you try to reach them, so move behind cover and look for an engagement where they cannot easily retreat. Dash is most useful when it puts you close enough to follow with Slash.
Once you have spent Dash, account for its 12-second cooldown before committing to another chase. If the opponent creates distance again, your firearm gives you an option that does not require running straight after them.
When does bullet deflection work?
Three Sword Style deflects bullets coming from the front while charging the Dash attack. Face the opponent during that charge-up phase to make use of the defensive effect before launching.
The timing matters as much as the direction. Deflection belongs to the charge-up phase; it is not a permanent defensive benefit simply because you have the swords equipped.

How do you use the short dash?
The Jump action provides a short dash that you can pair with Slash. Use it to cover a small gap or pursue an opponent who has moved just outside melee range.
Keep the short movement dash separate from the charged ADS attack in your thinking. The charged Dash is the move that deals 100 damage on contact and has a 12-second cooldown. Jump gives you another way to cover short distances while using the swords.
How do you finish the 700-damage One Piece quest?
The Episode 1 One Piece objective requires 700 damage to opponents with Zoro's Three Sword Style and awards 10,000 XP. Both Slash and the charged Dash contribute to the objective. Progress carries across matches, so you do not need to finish it in one fight or one run.
A practical way to work through the objective is:
- Search chests and floor loot until you find Three Sword Style.
- Look for close-range fights around buildings or cover rather than chasing distant opponents.
- Use Dash to reach an opponent, then Slash when you are within melee range.
- Open the Quest tab after the encounter to check your damage progress.
- Continue in later matches until the counter reaches 700.
Surviving to find another close-range opportunity is more useful than forcing every encounter into a sword fight. The 700 damage can accumulate over several matches, and your firearm remains worth using when an opponent is too far away for Slash or a useful Dash approach.
