The Tokyo City Treasure Hunt in Forza Horizon 6 is the trickiest chest in the current Spring Festival Playlist, and the clue photo does almost nothing to help you. You're looking at a shipping container yard, which describes roughly half of the Tokyo City region. The chest is real, the 100,000 Credits are real, and the multi-story warehouse parkour required to reach it is also very real. Here's exactly how to get there without wasting 20 minutes driving in circles.
Where is the Tokyo City Treasure Hunt chest?
The chest sits on an exterior catwalk attached to the northernmost warehouse in the Tokyo City container port, on the eastern edge of the region. The port is near the bottom-middle section of Japan's map, right along the waterfront.
Fast travel to the Tokyo City Docks drift zone to spawn as close as possible. Once you arrive, look to your right and you'll see a row of large warehouses. The one you need has "Irakuzu" written in black letters facing the drift zone, though sources also describe a multi-colored building with "Tomitama" on the side nearby. The ramp you want is on the outside of the first warehouse you encounter.

How do you reach the chest
The route through the warehouses is the part most players get wrong. Follow these steps in order:
- Approach the first warehouse ramp from the drift zone side and hit it at full speed.
- Jump the gap to the catwalk on the adjacent warehouse. Don't brake mid-air.
- Follow the catwalk around the building exterior, keeping momentum without going too fast over the small jump sections or you'll fly off the side.
- Take the steep ramp upward to reach the rooftop level.
- Cross the roof to the far side and follow the exterior track down toward the warehouse you started at.
- Enter the large door on the right when the ramp dips. This takes you inside the warehouse.
- Drive across the thin steel walkway running through the middle of the building interior.
- Exit through the large door immediately to your right on the far side.
- The treasure chest is sitting on the exterior platform right outside that door.
Smash through it and the 100,000 CR reward plus 3 Festival Playlist points are yours.

What rewards do you get from the Tokyo City Treasure Hunt?
Smashing the chest completes the Spring Weekly Challenge and nets you the following:
Those 3 points go toward the Spring Season total. The Spring Season is the final week of the Welcome to Japan Series 1 Festival Playlist, and the chest becomes unavailable at 2:30pm UTC on June 18. After that deadline, the playlist rotates to Summer and an entirely new Series begins.
What are the Spring Season prize cars?
The two cars available as Spring Season rewards are:
- Toyota Starlet Glanza V 1996 (15 points required)
- Toyota Corolla SR5 1974 (30 points required)
The Treasure Hunt's 3 points alone won't get you either car, so you'll need to stack completions across the other Spring challenges too.
