The 2025 Volkswagen Electric Buzz joins Forza Horizon 6 on November 12, 2026, through Car Pass, with automatic garage delivery and no in-game credit charge.
Check your existing edition before buying anything. The van is paid DLC, but several editions already include the pass. Its Autoshow listing also has a credit price, which should not be confused with the included delivery. Your purchase decision comes down to DLC ownership, whether you want the other pass cars, and whether you are making a separate in-game purchase.
When does the Electric Buzz become available?
As of November 5, 2026, the Electric Buzz is still an upcoming addition. The November 2 release notes place it in the Series 7 Car Pass schedule, separate from the Festival Playlist reward cars.
Installing the City Life update does not make every scheduled car immediately available. Car Pass releases arrive weekly on Thursdays, so you need to wait for this Volkswagen's individual release slot.
Do Festival Playlist points unlock it?
The reduced Festival Playlist point requirements introduced with City Life apply to Playlist rewards. You do not need to complete a seasonal points target to receive the Electric Buzz through Car Pass.
Which editions include Car Pass?
Car Pass is included with Deluxe Edition, Premium Edition, and Premium Upgrade. Standard Edition owners can purchase the pass separately.
| Edition or upgrade | Car Pass included? | What to check before purchasing |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | No | Choose a separate Car Pass purchase if you want its weekly cars. |
| Deluxe Edition | Yes | Check your existing ownership before buying the pass again. |
| Premium Edition | Yes | Use the pass included with your edition. |
| Premium Upgrade | Yes | Check whether you already own this upgrade. |
The pass delivers 30 cars across its weekly release schedule. Buy it for the collection if you want several of those vehicles, not simply because the Buzz appears in a Car Pass announcement.
Can you buy only the Electric Buzz?
The Electric Buzz will also be available as an individual DLC purchase for $2.99. This is the narrower purchase if you want this van without the rest of the pass.
If you already own Premium Edition and also need to collect its other included rewards, the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition bonus content guide covers those claims.
How is the Electric Buzz added to your garage?
For Car Pass owners, delivery is automatic when the vehicle becomes available. Follow this sequence to check the right requirement before looking for the van:
- Check your Car Pass ownership. Use the edition comparison above to establish whether it is already included.
- Wait for the Electric Buzz's release slot. The update download and the vehicle's availability are separate.
- Open your Garage. Look for Volkswagen and the 2025 Electric Buzz entry.
- Select the van to drive it. The included Car Pass route does not require an Autoshow purchase.
These steps describe the Car Pass delivery route. An individual DLC purchase is an alternative way to obtain access to this specific car, not ownership of the full pass.
Does claiming the Electric Buzz cost credits?
The included delivery and the Autoshow listing are different acquisition routes. Use the comparison below before spending CR.
| Acquisition route | In-game credit cost | Requirement or condition |
|---|---|---|
| Automatic Car Pass delivery | No additional credit cost | Own Car Pass and wait for the vehicle's release. |
| Autoshow purchase | 54,000 CR | The vehicle's DLC requirement still applies. |
| Auction House purchase | Set by the listing | Purchase or bid on an available listing; DLC ownership is still required. |
The 54,000 CR figure is the Autoshow purchase price, not a fee charged when Car Pass adds the van to your garage. Buying an Auction House listing also does not replace access to the paid content.
If you want a different car without buying this DLC, the Forza Horizon 6 Nissan Figaro guide explains how to collect that Treasure Car for free.
