Forza Horizon 6 sets its open world across Japan, and the achievement list reflects just how much ground there is to cover. There are 57 total achievements worth a combined 1,000 Gamerscore, split across racing, exploration, collecting, and multiplayer. The good news: the majority unlock naturally as you play through the Horizon Festival and Discover Japan journals. The trickier ones require deliberate effort, especially the collectible grinds and online-specific tasks.

How are the achievements organized in Forza Horizon 6?

Every achievement falls into one of three broad tracks:

• Horizon Festival Journal achievements tied to wristband progression, race events, Drag Meets, and Time Attacks
• Discover Japan Journal achievements tied to map exploration, car collecting, jobs, Touge races, and finding collectibles
• Online and multiplayer achievements requiring LINK Skills, Estate visits, and Horizon Play levels

This structure means you can knock out the bulk of the list simply by engaging with the main content. Online achievements are the exception; coordinating with friends speeds things up considerably, since activities like LINK Skills depend on other players being present and cooperative.

10 Gamerscore achievements (32 total)

These are the bread-and-butter unlocks. Most arrive without any special effort.

20 Gamerscore achievements (13 total)

These sit in the mid-game range and generally require a few sessions to reach.

30 Gamerscore achievements (9 total)

This tier is where the real grind begins. Several of these demand hours of deliberate play.

The two collectible achievements here are the ones most players underestimate. Smashing all 200 Regional Mascots and all 200 Bonus Boards takes real time to complete. Racing Aficionado requires 57 wins, which is a deliberate nod to the total achievement count. Lower difficulty settings count toward this, so there is no reason to fight the AI on hard settings unless you want to.

50 Gamerscore achievements (3 total)

These are the hardest unlocks in the game and require maxing out both journals plus fully exploring the map.

What achievements require online play?

Several achievements cannot be completed solo. The ones that specifically require online interaction are:

• Four Swords (Complete a LINK Skill) requires four players to perform a LINK Skill together
• What Are You Doing In My Estate? requires visiting another player's Estate
• Ready to Rumble and Maxed Out involve Horizon Play levels, which can be earned in online modes

Friends make the LINK Skill and Estate visit achievements significantly easier to coordinate. Playing with random players is possible but slower.
