Phantasmal Pals is the flagship event for Genshin Impact version 6.6 Luna VII, running from May 22 to June 8, 2026. How do you unlock the Phantasmal Pals event?
Before any mini-game becomes available, you need to meet two requirements:
- Reach Adventure Rank 30
- Complete the Archon Quest Ritou Escape Plan in Chapter II: Act I
Once those boxes are checked, head to either the Events tab or the Quests menu and start "The Forest Boar and the Little Witch." Play through the first half of this quest and the full event, including all four mini-games, opens up. New content gates behind additional quest parts that unlock on a rolling schedule through the event period.

How to play Fantasy Realm Performance
Fantasy Realm Performance is the combat-focused mini-game, and it is the one that rewards the most Primogems of the four (150 total). Each stage specifies recommended Elements, so bring teams built around those Elements to maximize efficiency.
The key mechanic here is the two-phase structure. The first phase is a standard enemy clear that builds Witchhunter Momentum. Once that meter fills, you enter Witchhunter Performance mode. This is where scoring actually happens, so save your strongest team for this phase rather than burning it on the opener.
You cannot use the same team for both the initial combat phase and the Witchhunter Performance phase. Plan your roster split before entering a stage.

How to play Dodoco's Bomb-Rally Ruckus
This mini-game puts you in control of Klee, throwing her signature Jumpty-Dumpty bombs to a field full of Dodocos. The catch: after each throw, your position shifts to wherever the most recent bomb landed. You are essentially chaining throws across the field from new positions each time.
Two things to watch carefully:
- Range adjustment: The distance from your current position to each Dodoco changes after every throw. Recalibrate before each toss.
- Power slider: A needle moves across a bar on-screen. Hit the slider when the needle lands in the yellow or green zones for an accurate throw.
The field contains Positive Zones and Negative Zones. Landing a throw in a Positive Zone increases your pass count by 1 and grants buffs. Negative Zone throws decrease your count by 1. Maximizing your pass count is how you push for higher scores, so prioritize routing through Positive Zones even if it means a slightly longer path to the next Dodoco.
Negative Zones will tank your score fast. If a Dodoco is sitting near or inside a Negative Zone, aim to land the bomb as close to the edge of the zone as possible rather than dead center.
How to play Gena's Great Escape
Gena's Great Escape is a straightforward endless-runner style mini-game where you control the Daruma doll Gena. The goal is to move forward while dodging obstacles and collecting as many Onigiri as possible. More Onigiri equals a higher score.
The mechanics are simple: switch lanes and jump to avoid obstacles. There is no complex system here, just pattern recognition and reaction time. Stages unlock progressively, with four total stages available by May 26.
How to play A Little Walk Home
A Little Walk Home is a platformer where you guide Yuegui through a stage to find Qiqi's finch Tuantuan, then escort them both back to Bubu Pharmacy. Collecting all radishes along the route boosts your score.
A few things to keep in mind:
- Certain platforms and mechanisms on the stage are movable. You can ride these to cross gaps and reach areas that would otherwise be blocked.
- Geo Slimes appear on the path and need to be avoided. They are not obstacles you can fight through in this mode.
