There are always new banners to look forward to in Genshin Impact, and Version 7.0 is currently in its second phase. The current banners feature Flins and Ineffa, while Version 7.1 will bring Vesna and Vodyanitsa as its next new 5-star characters. Skirk and Escoffier will also return later in the update.
Here is a straightforward look at every current and upcoming Genshin Impact banner for September 2026.
The Version 7.0 Phase 2 banners run until September 22, 2026. The featured 5-star characters are Flins and Ineffa.
Both banners share the same featured 4-star characters:
Flins and Ineffa are both 5-star Electro Polearm characters, but they fill different roles. Flins is an on-field character focused on dealing Lunar-Charged damage, while Ineffa works better off-field, providing Electro damage, shielding, and support for Lunar-Charged teams.
The current Epitome Invocation weapon banner also ends on September 22, 2026. Its featured 5-star weapons are Bloodsoaked Ruins and Fractured Halo.
The featured 4-star weapons include:
The next set of banners arrives with Genshin Impact Version 7.1 on September 23, 2026. Phase 1 will feature two brand-new characters , Vesna and Vodyanitsa , followed by reruns of Skirk and Escoffier in Phase 2. The featured 4-star characters for Version 7.1 have not been confirmed yet.
Vesna is a new 5-star Anemo Sword character. Her gameplay revolves around the new Stellar Swirl mechanic, allowing her to generate Sword Essence and use it to strengthen parts of her kit. Her signature 5-star Sword is called Beyond the Chrysalis.
Vesna will be available during Version 7.1 Phase 1.
Genshin Impact Current and Next Banners for September 2026
Vodyanitsa runs alongside Vesna during Version 7.1 Phase 1. She is a 5-star Hydro Catalyst character focused on support and healing. Her kit also synergizes with Stellar Swirl teams, making her a natural teammate for Vesna. Her signature 5-star Catalyst is Hymn of the Maelstrom.
Genshin Impact Current and Next Banners for September 2026
The second half of Version 7.1 will bring reruns for Skirk and Escoffier.
The two work well together, so Phase 2 may be worth saving for if you are building a Skirk team. The exact 4-star lineup for their banners has not been announced yet.
The right choice depends on which character or team you want to build.
| Character | Role | Best For |
|---|---|---|
| Flins | On-field DPS | Lunar-Charged teams |
| Ineffa | Off-field support | Electro and Lunar-Charged teams |
| Vesna | On-field DPS | Stellar Swirl teams |
| Vodyanitsa | Support / Healer | Stellar Swirl teams |
| Skirk | On-field DPS | Cryo teams |
| Escoffier | Off-field support | Skirk and Cryo teams |
Players interested in the new Version 7.1 characters may want to save their Primogems for Vesna and Vodyanitsa. Those waiting for Skirk or Escoffier can hold a little longer, since their banners arrive in Phase 2.
Character Event Wish pity carries over to future limited character banners, so skipping the current banners will not reset your existing pity.
The key dates to keep in mind: Flins and Ineffa leave on September 22, while Vesna and Vodyanitsa arrive on September 23.
