Seed Packs are one of the fastest ways to score rare plants in Grow a Garden without grinding the Seed Shop for hours. Some drop during weather events, some come from voting on the official GAG website, and one requires Robux. Knowing which packs exist, what seeds they contain, and exactly how to chase each one down makes a real difference in how quickly your garden generates Sheckles.
What seed packs exist in Grow a Garden 2?
There are several distinct Seed Pack types in the game, each with its own seed pool and acquisition method. A few packs are already available, while others are listed in the game's data but marked as coming soon.
How to get seed packs for free
There are five free methods worth building a routine around. Some are passive, others require you to show up at the right time.

Vote on the official GAG website
This is the most reliable free method. Head to the official GAG voting site and link your Roblox account. Every vote you cast has a chance to trigger a Lucky Swipe, which can reward an Uncommon Seed Pack, a Rare Seed Pack, Pet Eggs, and other items. Rewards land directly in your in-game mailbox, so you do not even need to be playing at the time.
Attend weather events
During the Gold Moon event, Gold Seeds spawn somewhere in the world and you get a notification that one has appeared. Track it down and collect it. The same mechanic applies during Rainbow Moon for Rainbow Seeds. These seeds drop as individual collectibles rather than traditional packs, but they function identically once you have them.

Redeem promo codes
Active codes occasionally hand out free seeds. The code TEAMGREENBEAN currently rewards 3 Green Bean Seeds. Enter codes through the Settings menu inside the game. Seed rewards from codes are added directly to your inventory without needing to open a pack.
Complete guild quests
If you are in a guild, check the daily quest objectives. Seed Packs appear among the possible quest rewards. The pool rotates, so it is worth logging in daily to see what is on offer.
Participate in limited-time events
The developers run special events that reward Seed Packs on completion. These are announced through the official GAG Discord and the in-game news feed. Staying plugged into those channels means you will not miss a free pack.
How to get the Ghost Pepper Pack with Robux
The Ghost Pepper Pack is the only Seed Pack currently available for direct purchase. You will find it in the Robux Shop inside the game. It contains five seeds: Ghost Pepper, Poison Ivy, Glow Mushroom, Horned Melon, and Baby Cactus. All five are plants you cannot easily find in the standard Seed Shop rotation.
Before spending Robux, it is worth checking our Grow a Garden 2 plants tier list to see where those five plants rank and whether the pack aligns with your current farming strategy.

How to open a seed pack in Grow a Garden 2
Opening a pack takes about five seconds once you know where to look.
- Launch Grow a Garden 2 and load into your plot.
- Open your inventory or backpack.
- Find the Seed Pack you want to open.
- Select it and press the Use / Open button.
- Wait for the reward animation to complete.
- The random seed gets added to your inventory automatically.
- Plant it immediately or hold it for later.
Code seeds, Gold Seeds, and Rainbow Seeds skip this process entirely. They plant directly from your inventory without an opening step.
What makes seed packs worth chasing?
The Rare Seed Pack alone can drop Bamboo, Corn, Cactus, or Pineapple, all of which sit above the common tier and sell for noticeably more Sheckles. If you are trying to push your Sheckle income without spending Robux, stacking Lucky Swipes through daily voting is the most time-efficient path.
