Onyx BOOX has unveiled three new ePaper devices during its Fall 2026 launch event, introducing the Note Air6 C, Note Mini C, and Palma 3. The new lineup focuses on reading, writing, and portable productivity, with all three devices running Android 16 and featuring built-in front lighting.
The new devices are also equipped with an octa-core processor and BOOX Super Refresh (BSR) technology. The Note Air6 C and Note Mini C use color ePaper displays, while the redesigned Palma 3 retains its phone-sized form factor with a monochrome ePaper panel.

BOOX Note Air6 C
The BOOX Note Air6 C is the latest addition to the company's Note Air range. It features a 10.3-inch HD color ePaper display and maintains the paper-like writing experience associated with the previous Note Air5 C.
The device is powered by a 4nm octa-core processor, alongside 6GB of RAM and BOOX's BSR technology. According to BOOX, the combination reduces page-turn speed by 40% compared with the previous generation.
The Note Air6 C also introduces upgraded wireless connectivity, which BOOX says provides near-zero latency. The device can connect to accessories such as a wireless mouse and earbuds, while also supporting audio synchronization with multiple users.
The native Notes application has also received several additions. Existing tools such as Outline, Tag, and Search are joined by Dual Note, allowing two notes to be displayed simultaneously in either a horizontal or vertical layout.
A set of pogo pins on the rear of the device provides a connection for the keyboard cover, allowing the Note Air6 C to be used as a more traditional productivity device.

BOOX Note Mini C Brings Color ePaper to a Smaller Form Factor
The BOOX Note Mini C is a new addition to the Note range, designed around a smaller 8.52-inch form factor.
BOOX describes the device as a balance between portability and readability. Its 8.52-inch HD color ePaper display is intended for reading documents, editing files, and viewing color-coded charts while remaining easier to carry than larger Note devices.
Despite its smaller size, the Note Mini C includes 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage. A microSD card slot also allows storage to be expanded by up to 2TB.
The device supports the new magnetic InkSight stylus, providing another option for handwriting and document annotation.
The Note Mini C is scheduled to launch soon and will be priced at US$579.99 in the US. In Europe, pricing is listed at $549.99/£549.99/€579.99. Amazon availability is expected to follow.
BOOX Palma 3 Uses a Monochrome ePaper Display
The BOOX Palma 3 continues the phone-sized design of the previous Palma models while introducing a redesigned monochrome ePaper panel.
BOOX says the new display provides deeper blacks and higher contrast, with the device positioned around reading and other lower-stimulation uses. The compact design is intended to make the Palma 3 suitable for carrying books, audiobooks, and other content while away from a larger tablet or e-reader.
The Palma 3 runs Android 16 and uses an open Android platform, allowing users to install and access applications beyond BOOX's own software. The device includes 128GB of storage, a microSD card slot, and upgraded wireless connectivity.
It is also compatible with the InkSense Plus stylus, expanding the device's functionality beyond reading.
The BOOX Palma 3 is scheduled to launch soon at US$339.99 in the US. European pricing is listed at $319.99/£319.99/€339.99, with Amazon availability expected at a later date.
Android 16 and BOOX Super Refresh Across the New Range
The three devices share several hardware and software features. Each runs Android 16, includes a built-in front light, and uses an octa-core processor alongside BOOX Super Refresh technology.
The combination is intended to improve responsiveness on ePaper displays, an area where traditional LCD and OLED devices generally have an advantage. The Note Air6 C additionally benefits from a 4nm processor and upgraded wireless connectivity, while the Note Mini C focuses on reducing the physical size of a color ePaper notebook.
The Palma 3 takes a different approach by combining the compact form factor of the Palma series with a higher-contrast monochrome display.
With the three new models, BOOX is expanding its current range across several form factors, from the 10.3-inch Note Air6 C and compact 8.52-inch Note Mini C to the phone-sized Palma 3.
