The City Life update for Forza Horizon 6 is available now, with its November 2 release at 6:00 p.m. UTC adding two permanent race routes, new engine swaps, and 35 IKEA props on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Its Festival Playlist opens November 5 at 2:30 p.m. UTC with reward cars.
Tokyo gets new races, garages get IKEA furniture
The new routes are Edo Circuit Road Race and Shuto Charge Street Race, adding a road racing event and a street racing event to the urban schedule.

Tokyo City's new racing routes
Custom Garage builders get the IKEA Prop Pack, which includes KALLAX shelving, BILLY bookcases, VARMBLIXT lamps, controller display boxes, and D-pad cushions. The crossover accompanies Xbox and IKEA's gaming-inspired collection, giving garage customization a distinctly domestic turn. Apparently, the cars need somewhere to put their shopping, too.
The engine swaps offer a different kind of customization. The 2024 Toyota Prius Prime XSE Premium gains a 3.5L V6-PDSC option, while the 2017 Ford GT gains compatibility with both the 5.2L V10 and 8.4L V10. Those are substantial new building blocks for tuners, rather than another set of cosmetic parts.
The Ginetta gets a fix, PR Stunt records get wiped
For racing games players focused on lap times, the 2019 Ginetta G40 Junior adjustment is the more consequential change. Playground Games has corrected its performance after it outpaced comparable cars across several PI classes, affecting competition in Horizon Play and Rivals.
Every PR Stunt leaderboard has also been reset following fixes for exploits that allowed unrealistic results. Legitimate records are caught in that reset, too, making this the update's toughest trade-off for players who earned their places cleanly.
A new Garage and Autoshow filter highlights cars that meet current Festival Playlist restrictions, cutting the guesswork before a purchase. Solo Seasonal Championships now follow your selected difficulty, while co-op Seasonal Championships have become harder.
Some smaller fixes tackle familiar irritations. The map discovery statistic can now reach 100% after every region has been discovered, and the 1990 Nissan #12 Skyline GT-R (BNR32 Gr.A) JTC can accept stickers over its windshield banner.
Missing Playlist points are also being restored for eligible players affected by the seventh Daily Challenge in Series 6 Week 1 and the third part of the Weekly Challenge in Series 5 Week 4. Eligibility covers players who logged in during those weeks but could not complete the affected challenges.
November's Playlist lowers the reward-car grind
City Life runs through December 3 and reduces the Festival Playlist points required to unlock new cars. Playground Games made the change following player feedback, aiming to make those rewards more accessible, including for players without access to online content.

City Life's compact reward lineup
Three cars make their Horizon debuts in this series. The featured arrivals and two returning models have the following unlock windows:
| Reward car | Required PTS | Availability | Details |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2016 Honda S660 Alpha | 60 | November 5 to December 3 | Horizon debut with body kit upgrades |
| 2025 Citroën Ami | 15 | November 5 to November 12 | Horizon debut with body kit upgrades |
| 2011 Alfa Romeo Giulietta Quadrifoglio Verde | 15 | November 12 to November 19 | Returning car |
| 1987 Fiat Panda | 15 | November 19 to November 26 | Horizon debut |
| 1966 Hillman Imp | 15 | November 26 to December 3 | Returning car |
The wider reward roster includes the 1970 Honda N600 at 120 series PTS. Seasonal rewards at 30 PTS are the 1996 Toyota Starlet Glanza V in Summer, 2016 Abarth 695 Biposto in Autumn, 1989 Volkswagen Rallye Golf in Winter, and 1974 Toyota Corolla SR5 in Spring.
Car Pass has a separate weekly delivery schedule:
- November 5: 2025 Ford Mustang GTD.
- November 12: 2025 Volkswagen Electric Buzz.
- November 19: 1983 Nissan 240RS.
- November 26: 2025 Porsche Macan GTS.
These vehicles are included with Car Pass, the Deluxe and Premium Editions, or the Premium Upgrade. They are added automatically to eligible owners' garages without an in-game credit purchase, keeping them separate from the Playlist's points-based rewards.
Master Chief joins City Life's second week
The Xbox and Halo 25th anniversary celebrations bring a special livery on the 2025 GR GT Prototype, distributed to all players through Message Center. The Master Chief Outfit arrives as a reward for the Week 2 Photo Challenge.
That same week, finding 15 Gashapon Machine Collectibles at Daikoku earns the Halo Shield Recharge Car Horn. Other Playlist rewards include the Pedestrian Crossing Chirp, Keyboard Typing, and Pedestrian Crossing Cuckoo horns, plus the RingRing emote. Playing during City Life also unlocks the Tower Power Badge.
The Edamame Time Attack Circuit returns to Horizon Stadium for the series, bringing back the layout first introduced in Series 4's Horizon Mascot Party update.
December's Horizon Holidays update follows with Evolving World changes, another permanent race route, and three more new-to-Horizon cars planned. For help with the wider game between series, visit the Forza Horizon 6 guide collection.
