Nintendo's US eShop Summer Sale is live right now, and it's a big one. Across lots of titles spanning both Switch 1 and Switch 2, the discounts range from modest to genuinely absurd, and the window to act closes at 11:59pm on July 8, 2026. That's less time than it sounds.
The list skews heavily toward third-party and indie titles, though a handful of Nintendo's own catalogue makes an appearance too. The breadth of genres covered is real: survival horror, bullet hell shooters, roguelites, visual novels, open-world RPGs, and retro collections all show up with price cuts attached.

The deals that actually stand out
The headline number is Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition on Switch 2, down from $69.99 to $28.99. CD Projekt Red's port arrived at Switch 2 launch in June 2025 and held up surprisingly well on the hardware, and at this price it's one of the stronger value propositions in the sale.
BioShock: The Collection might be the outright steal of the event. Three full games plus all DLC for $9.99, down from $49.99. That's three iconic single-player shooters at roughly $3.33 each. Hard to argue with that math.
Some other prices worth flagging:
- Death's Door (Switch eShop): $3.99 (down from $19.99)
- Dave The Diver (Switch eShop): $10.99 (down from $19.99)
- Dark Souls: Remastered (Switch): $19.99 (down from $39.99)
- Alien: Isolation (Switch eShop): $14.99 (down from $19.99)
- Catherine: Full Body (Switch): $9.99 (down from $49.99)
- Danganronpa V3: Killing Harmony Anniversary Edition: $8.99 (down from $29.99)
- Fast RMX (Switch eShop): $13.99 (down from $19.99)
- Bad North (Switch eShop): $3.74 (down from $14.99)
- FAR: Lone Sails (Switch eShop): $2.24 (down from $14.99)
- Duke Nukem 3D: 20th Anniversary World Tour: $2.49 (down from $9.99)
Switch 2 titles getting their first real discounts
The Switch 2 side of the sale is smaller but notable. Beyond Cyberpunk, Blue Prince from Raw Fury drops to $17.99 (from $29.99). The puzzle-exploration game launched in March 2026 and has been generating genuine word-of-mouth since. Fast Fusion and Dispatch Nintendo Switch 2 Edition also appear, both with their first meaningful price reductions since launch.
For Switch 2 owners still building their library, this sale is a reasonable opportunity to fill gaps without waiting for Nintendo's own first-party titles to get touched. For context on what Switch 2 owners can access across both hardware generations, our Switch 1 vs Switch 2 compatibility guide for Tomodachi Life: Living the Dream breaks down exactly what you get depending on which console you're playing on.
What the community is actually buying
Reaction to the sale has been strong. Players are gravitating toward the deeper discounts on older titles, with Persona 5 Royal, Fire Emblem: Three Houses, and Alien: Isolation all generating buzz. The BioShock collection at $9.99 has been called out repeatedly as the obvious impulse buy of the event.
Here's the thing: a sale this broad means the best approach is knowing what you actually want before browsing, not scrolling until something looks cheap. The titles discounted here are genuine games with real playtime behind them, not filler. Death's Door alone runs 8-10 hours and is one of the tighter action-adventure games on the platform. Dave The Diver can eat 30+ hours without trying.

The sale runs through July 8, 2026 in the US eShop. If there's something on your wishlist that's been sitting there for a while, this is the window to act on it. Check the eShop directly to confirm current pricing before purchasing, as individual discounts can vary.
