Technical backing and grant funding
"Soneium For All" runs on a collaboration with Astar Network and Startale Cloud Services, which supply technical infrastructure and a dedicated grant pool. Projects that integrate the ASTR token as a utility or payment layer can tap into $60,000 in total grant funding. The combination of these resources with Soneium's existing infrastructure gives developers a direct route to a live, active user base.
Sony Innovation Fund access and marketing support
Incubator participants get direct mentoring and advisory sessions with the Sony Innovation Fund, which can lead to follow-on investment for teams that fit Sony's long-term vision. Beyond capital, the program includes promotional support: featured placement on Soneium's official platform, blog posts, livestream appearances, and marketing campaigns designed to drive early user adoption.

What Sony and Astar say about the program
Ryohei Suzuki, Director of Sony Block Solutions Labs, framed the incubator as part of Sony's push to lower entry barriers for creators and speed up user engagement through blockchain infrastructure. Maarten Henskens, Head of Astar Foundation, described the incubator as a logical extension of Astar's existing work with Soneium, pointing to more than 40 projects already using ASTR within the ecosystem and reaffirming Astar's focus on web3 developers building gaming and consumer applications.
"As part of our efforts under Astar Evolution, and following the success of the Astar Contribution Score Campaign on Soneium, joining the 'Soneium For All' incubator is a natural next step," said Maarten Henskens, Head of Astar Foundation. "With over 40 projects already integrating ASTR on Soneium, we're committed to support developers building innovative gaming and consumer dApps that expand ASTR's utility and solidify its role as a core asset in the Soneium ecosystem."
