Sun Gaming and Hospitality Partners With The Sourcing Exchange to Improve Gaming Procurement

Sun Gaming and Hospitality (SG&H) and The Sourcing Exchange have announced a strategic partnership aimed at transforming procurement across the global gaming and hospitality industries.

Partnership Focuses on Smarter Procurement

The strategic alliance is designed to shift procurement from a traditionally reactive business function into a strategic tool for driving enterprise value and measurable cost savings.

By combining The Sourcing Exchange's proprietary benchmarking technology with Sun Gaming and Hospitality's operational and development experience, the partnership aims to provide greater transparency, improved cost efficiency, and stronger vendor performance across complex gaming and resort operations.

The organizations stated that the combined solution will enable owner-operators to strengthen procurement strategies through real-time benchmarking, pricing visibility, and data-driven sourcing decisions.

The platform builds upon procurement innovations developed through Scott Robins' broader work with data-driven sourcing models, including the Group Savings Organization (GSO) framework within the healthcare sector. According to the companies, that model has demonstrated the ability to reduce costs while creating additional revenue opportunities through performance-based sourcing and real-time analytics.

Bobby Soper and Scott Robins Expand Longstanding Collaboration

The partnership also reflects a professional relationship spanning more than 15 years between SG&H Founder and Chief Executive Officer Bobby Soper and The Sourcing Exchange Founder and Chief Executive Officer Scott Robins.

The two executives previously worked together during Soper's leadership at Mohegan, where they developed procurement strategies designed to improve operational efficiency and deliver measurable financial results.

"I have worked with Scott Robins for 15 years and saw firsthand the impact his procurement model had on Mohegan," said Bobby Soper. "The results were significant, and this partnership represents the expansion of a proven model that has already delivered real value across the industry."

Scott Robins added, "Bobby Soper's experience and credibility in global gaming and integrated resort development are unmatched. By combining his operational expertise with our data-driven procurement platform, we are bringing transparency and accountability to an area of the business that has historically lacked both."

Procurement Platform Supports Gaming Development and Operations

Through Sun Gaming and Hospitality, Bobby Soper advises global developers, operators, investors, and private equity firms on the planning, financing, and optimization of integrated resorts.

The integration of The Sourcing Exchange into SG&H's advisory services provides clients with procurement capabilities that include real-time benchmarking, vendor evaluation, and pricing analysis throughout every stage of development and ongoing operations.

According to both companies, the combined offering is intended to support organizations from initial project planning through long-term operational performance improvements.

Leadership Experience Across Gaming and Procurement

Bobby Soper brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience across domestic and international gaming markets. During his career, he has served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Mohegan Sun Pocono, Mohegan Sun Connecticut, and the Mohegan Tribal Gaming Authority, overseeing expansion into new U.S. markets and securing a major integrated resort license in South Korea.

Scott Robins is recognized for developing procurement strategies focused on spend management, vendor relationships, and cost recovery. He previously founded Virtual Procurement Services, which delivered analytics-driven sourcing solutions, and currently serves as Chairman of the Group Savings Organization, a healthcare procurement platform focused on reducing costs through real-time benchmarking and performance-based agreements.

About the Companies

Sun Gaming and Hospitality is a global consultancy founded by Bobby Soper that provides advisory services for the development, financing, and optimization of integrated resorts and gaming enterprises. The firm works with operators, developers, investors, and private equity groups throughout all stages of project planning and operations.

The Sourcing Exchange provides a procurement intelligence platform designed to help organizations improve performance and reduce costs across IT, software, hardware, services, and operational equipment. Its performance-based compensation model aligns its fees with verified client savings.

The Group Savings Organization (GSO) is a healthcare procurement and analytics platform that supports hospitals and health systems through real-time pricing data, benchmarking tools, and performance-based sourcing agreements aimed at improving financial performance.
