Xbox unveiled its one-of-a-kind, playable Xbox Series X-Bite on November 3, putting the alligator-shaped Series X into a sweepstakes.
A working Series X inside an alligator
The X-Bite looks like an alligator that has swallowed a console whole. An illuminated Xbox Nexus logo emerges through its back, while green eyes have Xbox-inspired pupils. Detailed scales and textured skin complete the replica.

The X-Bite is a prize, not a retail release
Microsoft estimates the custom console's value at $800, but it is not being offered for sale. A random draw will decide who gets to take it home.
The sweepstakes runs across Xbox's social accounts, with entry requirements covering both the post and the participant's account:
- Follow the official Xbox account on X, Instagram, or TikTok.
- Repost the designated sweepstakes announcement and manually include #XbiteSweepstakes.
- Keep the account public so the entry can be viewed.
Participation requires no purchase. Entrants must be legal residents of the US, Washington, D.C., or Puerto Rico, and at least 18 years old.
Winning the draw is only part of claiming this particular console.
Xbox marketing boss Josh Munsee described the X-Bite as having “pure Miami vibes.” The company's announcement also says Xbox is heading to Florida this November, describing the state as a place with “stories you have to see to believe.”
