Halloween has fully taken over Overwatch, and Season 5 is leaning into it hard. The Battle Pass is stacked with spooky-themed cosmetics across eight pages of rewards, giving heroes like Ashe, Junker Queen, Brigitte, and Soldier: 76 some genuinely great seasonal looks. You have until December 7 to earn everything, so here's a full breakdown of what's waiting for you.
What's in the Overwatch Season 5 Battle Pass?
The Season 5 Battle Pass is organized into eight pages, each containing a mix of skins, sprays, player icons, name cards, voice lines, weapon charms, credits, Mythic Prisms, Overwatch Coins, loot boxes, and emotes. The headline items are the legendary-tier Halloween skins, but there's a solid amount of supporting cosmetics padding out every page.
tip
You can progress through the Season 5 Battle Pass and an Unvaulted Battle Pass at the same time, so there's no reason to ignore older content while chasing the Halloween rewards.
Pages two through six each award 10 Mythic Prisms, giving you a total of 50 Mythic Prisms across the pass if you reach page six. Plan your Mythic skin upgrades accordingly.

tip
Player Titles from the Battle Pass are cosmetic only and have no effect on matchmaking or competitive rank. They're purely a flex for your nameplate.
How do Unvaulted Battle Passes work?
Unvaulted Battle Passes are a feature that arrived with Season 5. They let you go back and progress through older Battle Passes to unlock items you missed the first time around. Each one costs 1,000 Overwatch Coins to unlock, and that price applies even if you already made partial progress during the original season.
Once purchased, an Unvaulted Battle Pass stays permanently on your account with no expiry date. You can run it alongside the current Season 5 Battle Pass simultaneously, and if you own multiple Unvaulted passes, you can switch between them freely without losing any progress. The one catch: tier skips do not work on Unvaulted Battle Passes.
What's excluded from Unvaulted Battle Passes?
Not everything from an old pass carries over. Unvaulted Battle Passes specifically exclude mythic skins, Mythic Prisms, Overwatch Coins, player titles, and XP boosts. You're getting the skins, sprays, icons, and other cosmetics, but the premium currency and progression items are off the table.
If a specific Unvaulted Battle Pass shows a lock icon, it isn't available yet and you'll need to wait for it to rotate into the shop.
Overwatch Season 5 Battle Pass: All Skins & Items
What are the best skins in the Season 5 Battle Pass?
The six named skins across pages one through six are the main draw. Ghostly Belle Ashe and Ghost Bride Mei land early, making them accessible without a huge grind. Bat Empress Junker Queen on page four is the standout tank skin, and Witching Hour Brigitte on page six is worth pushing for if you main support. Jack o' Ripper Soldier: 76 and Spectral Shroud Symmetra round out the DPS options on pages five and six respectively.
For players who want to see how Season 5's cosmetics stack up against past seasons, the Overwatch Season 4 hero skins guide breaks down everything that dropped in the previous season for easy comparison.
If you're also chasing Competitive Points rewards this season, the Crimson Wolf weapon variant unlock guide explains exactly how the CP system and yearly reset work.
For everything else happening in Season 5, the full Overwatch guides collection has patch notes, hero breakdowns, and tier lists to keep you up to speed.
