Eevee has always been one of the most beloved Pokémon in the franchise, and Pokémon Pokopia gives the Evolution Pokémon and all eight of its evolved forms a starring role. The catch? None of them appear during the main story. Tracking down Eevee, Vaporeon, Jolteon, Flareon, Espeon, Umbreon, Leafeon, Glaceon, and Sylveon requires unlocking Palette Town Mode and building very specific Habitats, each gated behind its own Special Challenge. Here is everything you need to know to collect the full Eeveelution family.
Where Do Eevee and Eeveelutions Appear in Pokémon Pokopia?
You will not find any member of the Eevee family during the main story. All nine are locked behind Palette Town Mode, a separate area designed to reward players who stick around after the credits roll. Each Eeveelution needs its own food-themed Habitat, and building those Habitats means completing specific Special Challenges tied to your progression in the mode.

How to Get Eevee in Pokémon Pokopia
Eevee is the easiest of the bunch to encounter. It shows up automatically when you first use the Computer inside the Pokémon Center in Palette Town. During this scripted interaction, Eevee asks you to help locate its evolved forms and provides hints about the Habitats each one prefers. This conversation essentially serves as your checklist for the rest of the grind.
Eevee is classified as a Common rarity Pokémon that can spawn in any biome once you have met it. Its specialty is Trade, which lets it exchange items with you at cash registers after you have befriended it. It prefers warm environments and gravitates toward soft objects, stone decorations, cute items, text-based objects, group activities, and sweet flavors.
How to Get Every Eeveelution: Special Challenge Requirements
Every Eeveelution is locked behind a Special Challenge that awards the food item needed for its Habitat. The table below breaks down what you need to do for each one.
How to Get Vaporeon
Vaporeon only appears in the Boundless Blue Beverage Habitat. Building this Habitat requires the Soda Float item, which unlocks after you collect and grow 12 different flower seed varieties in Palette Town. Focus on diversifying your flower garden early rather than planting duplicates of the same species.
How to Get Jolteon
Jolteon needs the Electrifying Potatoes Habitat, which calls for Fried Potatoes. You earn this item by powering 50 machines with electricity across Palette Town. This challenge naturally resolves itself as you expand your electrical grid, but it takes time.
How to Get Flareon
Flareon shows up in the Burning-Hot Spice Habitat, which needs Pizza. The Pizza item unlocks after you use Pokémon to assist with building tasks 15 times. This is one of the faster challenges if you actively recruit Pokémon helpers during construction.
How to Get Espeon
Espeon requires the Elegant Daytime Treats Habitat and the Afternoon Tea Set item. The unlock condition is simple: get a Pokémon housemate in Palette Town. The harder part is remembering that Espeon only spawns during daylight hours, so adjust your in-game clock before expecting it to appear.
How to Get Umbreon
Umbreon is the most demanding Eeveelution to unlock. It lives in the Dark-Chocolate Cookies Habitat, which requires Chocolate Cookies. That item only becomes available after you build a road using 300 blocks, a serious construction commitment. Worse, Umbreon only appears at night, so you need to switch to nighttime after the Habitat is ready or you will be waiting for nothing.
How to Get Leafeon
Leafeon appears in the Leafy Green Sandwich Habitat, which needs Sandwiches. The unlock condition is obtaining 50 vegetable seeds and planting all of them at once. Stockpile vegetable seeds before attempting this challenge instead of planting them in small batches as you find them.
How to Get Glaceon
Glaceon needs the Shaved Ice Habitat and the Shaved Ice food item. The unlock condition is setting up five lifts in Palette Town. If you have been building vertically and expanding your town's infrastructure, this challenge may complete itself during normal play.
How to Get Sylveon
Sylveon requires the Lovely Ribbon Cake Habitat, which uses the Ribbon Cake item. That item unlocks after you encounter 10 different Pokémon in Palette Town. This is one of the friendliest unlock conditions and rewards players who are already exploring and befriending Pokémon in the mode.

Sylveon's Ribbon Cake Habitat
Once you have built every Habitat and cleared every Special Challenge, your Palette Town will house the entire Eevee family. The grind is heaviest for Umbreon and Leafeon, but collecting all nine in one place makes the effort worth it.
