Ready or Not's Boiling Point DLC arrives with a narrative edge that sets it apart from previous expansions. A terror attack fractures trust between the public and a militarized city government, and your SWAT team is caught right in the middle. For $9.99, you get three new missions, a wave of new weapons and attachments, exclusive cosmetics, and a massive quality-of-life patch that touches nearly every system in the game.

What Missions Are Included in Boiling Point?
The DLC ships with three new missions that build on the expansion's politically charged story:
- No Good Deed — The opening mission drops you into the fallout of the terror attack, where the line between ally and threat blurs fast.
- All Gods Burn — A high-tension operation set against a backdrop of extremist violence.
- A New America — The finale, pushing the narrative to its conclusion with the stakes at their highest.
Each mission introduces a new CQB suspect type exclusive to Boiling Point, meaning enemies behave differently than in the base game. There's also a lethal gas environmental threat added to certain levels, deployed by some suspects, so you'll want to factor that into your loadout planning before you breach.
warning
The lethal gas environmental hazard in Boiling Point missions can down your team quickly if you enter without checking suspect positions first. Scout with the Optiwand before breaching gas-affected rooms.
What New Weapons and Equipment Did Update 1.4.1 Add?
Update 1.4.1 doesn't just deliver DLC content. The base game receives a serious arsenal expansion alongside it.
New Weapons
All three new firearms are available to all players through the base game update, not locked behind the DLC purchase.
Attachment Upgrades
The attachment system received some of its most significant improvements yet:
- Variable magnification now works properly on relevant sights, letting you switch between 1x and 4x magnification mid-operation.
- Multiple rail attachments can now be equipped simultaneously (for example, a flashlight and a red laser on the same rail).
- The RMO Sight with 3x Magnifier is a new optic option.
- M4A1 and G36C Carry Handle variants have been added, with the G36C variant supporting larger optics.
- Canted iron sights and alternative fixed iron sights are now available for select weapons.
info
Equipping both a flashlight and a red laser on the same rail is now possible thanks to the dual rail attachment update. This combination is especially useful on night missions where visibility and accuracy both matter.

What Quality-of-Life Improvements Came With Update 1.4.1?
Beyond the DLC content, the 1.4.1 patch addresses longstanding friction points across multiplayer, UI, and AI behavior.
Multiplayer and Quickplay
- You can now load directly into quickplay missions from the main menu, skipping the Station entirely if you prefer.
- Equipment loadouts can be changed directly upon loading into a quickplay mission or while restarting a mission.
- Players can customize loadouts while spectating, so downtime between rounds isn't wasted.
- Hosts can now change difficulty and spawn location from the mission end screen, removing the need to back out and reconfigure.
SWAT AI Fixes
The AI commanding system received a large batch of fixes. Key improvements include:
- SWAT AI no longer freezes up after bumping into geometry, players, or other AI when executing commands.
- Blue and red teams no longer accidentally execute each other's queued commands.
- SWAT AI now correctly reacts to compliance yells and handles double-door breaches more reliably.
- Pepper spray deployed by SWAT AI now properly affects its target.
CS Gas Improvements
CS Gas effectiveness against suspects has been improved, with the most noticeable impact on Hard difficulty. The grenade radius for CS gas fired from launchers has also been corrected after being too small in previous versions.

Is the Boiling Point DLC Worth $9.99?
At $9.99, Boiling Point delivers three story-driven missions with new enemy types and environmental hazards, a full cosmetics set with completion-locked rewards, and arrives alongside a base game update that adds three new weapons, an overhauled attachment system, and fixes for hundreds of bugs across every platform.
The base game update alone would justify reinstalling Ready or Not if you've been away for a while. The DLC adds a focused narrative layer on top of that foundation.
info
Ready or Not originally launched in Early Access on PC in December 2021, reached full release on Steam in 2023, and came to PS5 and Xbox Series X/S on July 15, 2025. Update 1.4.1 applies to all platforms.
Whether you're a returning player or someone who's been grinding since early access, the combination of new content and a cleaner, more stable game makes this a worthwhile moment to jump back in.
