Anime Last Stand pulls characters from some of the biggest anime franchises around, including Naruto, Jujutsu Kaisen, One Piece, and Dragon Ball Z. That means you probably already have a favorite in mind before you even open the summon screen. The problem is that fan loyalty and actual performance rarely line up. This tier list cuts through the noise and tells you exactly which units are worth building around in Roblox right now.

The complete Anime Last Stand tier list

Rankings here combine community consensus with hands-on testing across different wave compositions. Like any tier list, there is inherent subjectivity involved, so if your favorite unit sits lower than expected, that does not mean you should bench it entirely.

S tier: the units you build your team around

These are the units that consistently pull their weight at the highest difficulty levels. If you can get one of these, prioritize upgrading them first.

A tier: strong and reliable picks

A-tier units will not carry you on their own the way S-tier can, but they are excellent support and secondary damage dealers. Several of these, like Pirate King and Surgeon of Death (Room), are close enough to S tier that a good technique roll can push them over the line.

B tier: situational but usable

B-tier units are not bad. They just require more investment for returns that S and A-tier units deliver more efficiently. Vagata (Super), Gogata, and Captain Commander can still be useful in specific wave setups, but you should replace them as soon as you pull something higher.

C tier: falling behind the meta

C-tier units are mostly starter or early-game options that lose value fast. Grimjaw appears here in its base form, which is a stark contrast to the S-tier version, illustrating exactly how much form matters in Anime Last Stand.

  • Nemak Warrior
  • Shinra
  • Kon
  • Pride (Night)
  • Lenji
  • Zuffy (Lobby)
  • The Trio
  • Lovely Arrancar
  • Isekai Demon King
  • Vesh
  • Grimjaw
  • Wish Dragon Evo
  • Golden Admiral
  • Boku
  • Water Goddess
  • Disciple Witch
  • The Ascended Mage
  • Meteor Guard
  • Bombi
  • Wind Prince (Assimilation)

D tier: replace as soon as possible

D-tier units are either starter units with no upgrade path worth pursuing or units whose base stats fall too far behind current content. Pull for anything else.

  • Director General
  • Ichigo (Kai)
  • Wind Pillar
  • Roro
  • Denji
  • Pride (Starter)
  • Compass Demon
  • Asta
  • Vagata
  • Ichiko
  • Kazuu
  • Karuto
  • Burning Hero
  • Kirito
  • P-p-prisoner
  • Beast
  • Division Vice Captain
  • Zami
  • Furn (Apprentice)

How do Anime Last Stand rerolls actually work?

Here is where most new players get confused. Rerolls in Anime Last Stand do not let you reroll for a new hero. You are rerolling for techniques, which are the abilities attached to your existing units. If you want a different character entirely, you need to summon again.

To perform a reroll, head to the techniques circle in the hub and tap the reroll button. If the technique you receive is not what you wanted, spend another reroll and try again.

How do you get more rerolls?

Rerolls come from two main sources. You earn them by completing levels and playing through the game normally, but the fastest way to stack them is through active codes. Codes regularly hand out rerolls in bulk alongside gems and emeralds, so checking for working codes regularly is worth the two minutes it takes.

What makes S-tier units so dominant?

The gap between S tier and everything below it comes down to how these units scale at higher wave counts. Units like Hero Hunter (Bloodthirsty), Time King, and Tronks (Zaiyan Rage) maintain their damage output and utility well into the late game where B and C-tier units start to fall off noticeably. Fused Warrior (Super) and Pride (The One) are particularly consistent picks because their kits do not rely on niche conditions to perform.

For players building their first serious team, pairing two or three S-tier units with a reliable A-tier support is the most efficient path to clearing harder content.
