Some are tucked behind waterfalls, others require a multi-stage statue quest, and the Sickles send you on a map-wide lever hunt before the reward even appears. How to get the Nightfall Katana schematic
Start at the Mistfall Harbor Shrine and head toward the docks. You will see a waterfall along the cliffside. Do not walk behind it from the top. Instead, drop into the water and dive down to find the underwater opening beneath the waterfall. Swim through the passage, surface inside the cave, then climb the platform in the right corner to reach the chest containing the Nightfall Katana Schematic.
The Katana is a Duelist-class weapon that adds +5.75 Additional Damage, making it the most direct damage-focused pick in the Nightfall set.
How to get the Nightfall Serpent Katana schematic
This one works differently from every other schematic because the correct key is tied to your specific character, not a fixed spawn.
Return to the Mistfall Harbor docks and dive to the bottom to search for Serpent Keys in the sand and around nearby structures. Collect as many as you can in a single dive before surfacing. Then teleport to Dreamfall Hollow and enter the cave. Follow the path to the right corner, pass through the green vine wall, and climb the platform to find the locked chest.
Test your keys one by one. If none work, swim back to Mistfall Harbor for another batch. There is no shortcut here, but carrying six or seven keys per trip keeps the back-and-forth manageable.

How to get the Nightfall Axe & Mace schematic
Travel to the Bamboo Grove area and locate the mountain with the temple building at the top. Climb inside and work your way up using the interior platforms. The chest with the Nightfall Axe & Mace Schematic is at the very top.
Standard double jumps may not reach every platform here. Mobility abilities, particularly the C-move from Insect Breathing, make this parkour section considerably more forgiving. The Axe & Mace belongs to the Tank weapon class, pairing damage output with damage reduction.

How to get the Nightfall Scythe schematic
Teleport to Snow Village (also referred to as Iceveil Valley in some parts of the map) and head to the Wind Breathing Trainer platform. The underwater cave entrance is directly beneath it.
Dive down, find the statue submerged in the water, then go behind it and drop deeper to reach a breathable hidden area. From the drop point, follow this exact route:
- Go straight and take the first left.
- Continue and take the first left again.
- Take the first right.
- Go straight, then take the first left.
- At the end of the path, turn right and go straight to find the Nightfall Scythe Schematic.
Once you drop into the breathable section, you will not take constant cold damage, so there is no need to rush the navigation.

How to get the Nightfall Gauntlets schematic
This is the most involved single-weapon quest in the set. Start in Hidden Mist Village and speak to Stonemason Tobei, found inside a house across from the building with the fishing supplies. Talking to him activates the three-statue objective.
Windy Peak statue
Teleport to Windy Peak and enter the cave on the southern side near the Akaza boss spawn. The statue is on the right at the cave entrance. Hit it 100 times using a Breathing Style or Demon Art (BDA). When the eyes glow, the statue is activated.
Dungeons statue
Head to the dungeon area near the Rengoku boss. The second statue stands on the right side of the bridge, holding two swords. Hit it 100 times with a sword weapon to activate it.
Hidden Mist treetop statue
Return to Hidden Mist Village and climb the mountain using the tree branches. Reach the very top and hit the final statue 100 times with your fists.
After all three statues are glowing, return to Stonemason Tobei and speak to him to collect the Nightfall Gauntlets Schematic.

How to get the Nightfall Claws schematic
Teleport to Butterfly Estate and head toward the water near the Yeti spawn area. Jump in and dive straight down to find the underwater cave entrance. Swim through the tunnel to reach the hidden area containing the Nightfall Claws Schematic.
This is a straightforward underwater route, but the entrance can be hard to spot from the surface. Switching to first-person view before diving helps you spot the opening faster. Two of the Sickle levers are also at Butterfly Estate, so plan to grab those at the same time.
How to get the Nightfall Sickles schematic
The Sickles require the most effort of any schematic. You need to activate 10 levers spread across the entire map, after which a previously locked sewer door near the Rengoku boss area opens to reveal the schematic.

After pulling all 10, teleport to Mistfall Harbor, pass through the Rengoku boss area, and enter the now-unlocked sewer to claim the Nightfall Sickles Schematic.
How to collect all schematics faster
The biggest time saving comes from batching objectives by region rather than chasing them in order. Butterfly Estate holds the Claws schematic plus Levers 1 and 2. The Bamboo Grove building gives you the Axe & Mace schematic and Lever 3 in the same climb. The Hidden Mist treetop statue visit covers Lever 4. Akaza Cave handles Lever 8 on the same trip as the first Gauntlets statue.
For the Serpent Katana, collect six or more keys per dive at Mistfall Harbor before heading to Dreamfall Hollow. The key-to-chest matching is character-specific, so carrying a larger batch per trip cuts down the total number of round trips significantly.
