Keep the event objective separate from simply trying the crossover content. Racing on Godzilla Escape and obtaining the Godzilla Pack's machines are different goals from earning the Festival's rewards.

How is the Godzilla Pack different from Festival rewards?
The Godzilla Pack is paid DLC released alongside the Festival. Its machines, course, and music belong to the pack's content list. Buying that pack and progressing through Festival rewards are separate tasks.

The game must be updated to the latest version to use downloadable content. For an in-game purchase, follow the appropriate steps in the main menu.
Season Pass Two is also sold separately for $29.99 and includes the Godzilla Pack alongside additional Year Two content. The standalone purchase suits the narrower goal of owning this pack; check the pass's contents before choosing the larger purchase.
You can still compete online on the new course against players using the themed machines without owning the Godzilla Pack. Consider buying it when your goal is using its machines yourself, not merely encountering the crossover during online races.
Can Festival Gadgets and rewards become available again?
SEGA leaves two possible routes open for later availability:
- Festival Gadgets may be distributed in future live updates.
- Festival rewards may become available through other means in the future.
Both statements describe a possibility, not a guaranteed return. A later Gadget distribution also does not establish a rerun of the Godzilla Festival.
If you want a particular item, aim to earn it during this event. Waiting means relying on a possible future release instead of the Festival's current point-based unlock route.
How do you avoid permanently losing Festival rewards?
Keep the save data that holds your event items. Before starting over or following any process that includes deleting your save, decide whether you are willing to give those rewards up.
Possible future reward availability is not a recovery method for a deleted save. Treat the distribution notes and the save-deletion warning as separate rules.
The Godzilla Pack's access instructions require updating the game, completing the tutorial for included access, and launching or purchasing the content. They do not require deleting your save. Keep your existing data intact when accessing the crossover content.
