Sound design is equally committed. John Williams' score plays contextually during matches, swelling during hero encounters and retreating during quieter flanking sequences. Blaster sounds, TIE fighter screams, and lightsaber hums are all sourced from the original recordings, which gives every encounter a tactile connection to the source material.

Battlefront launched with a focused multiplayer suite that prioritizes accessibility over depth. The modes range from large 40-player battles to smaller skirmishes, and there is an offline mode against bots for players without an internet connection or PS Plus subscription. Survival missions offer wave-based co-op challenges across each map, giving solo players something to do outside of competitive play.
