Dead or Alive 6 Last Round launched June 25 on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC, and if you sank time and money into the base game, the first thing you want to know is what survives the jump. The short answer: most of your purchased costumes carry over, but your progression stats do not. The longer answer depends on your platform and which specific content you own. Here is everything you need to know before booting up Last Round for the first time.
How do you transfer DLC costumes to Dead or Alive 6 Last Round?
The process differs slightly depending on your platform, but the core logic is the same: launch Last Round on the same account you used for the base game.

DLC transfer confirmation screen
Steam
Steam is the most straightforward. Open Last Round with your existing Dead or Alive 6 account and your eligible DLC costumes transfer automatically. No extra steps required.
Xbox Series X|S
Xbox players need one additional step: download your vanilla Dead or Alive 6 DLC content first before launching Last Round. Once that download is complete, opening Last Round on the same account pulls the costumes across.
PlayStation 5
PS5 requires the most preparation. Before doing anything in Last Round, install update 1.23 on your base Dead or Alive 6 installation. After that patch is applied, open Last Round on the same PlayStation account and your eligible costumes will carry over.
How do you transfer save data?
Save data transfer works the same way across all three platforms. Open Dead or Alive 6 and Last Round will automatically detect any transferable save data on your system, then prompt you to bring it across.
The one catch: if you have already created save data inside Last Round, that existing file blocks the transfer. You must delete your Last Round save data before the import from the base game can proceed.
What carries over and what does not?
This is where things get specific. Koei Tecmo published a detailed breakdown of transferable and non-transferable content. The table below covers the key categories.
The Vacation to Paradise BGM Set is worth flagging separately. You do not need to worry about transferring it because those tracks are already baked into Last Round by default.
What about Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond?
These two are a separate situation. Even if you purchased their DLC costumes for the base game, none of that content transfers. More importantly, Mai Shiranui and Kula Diamond will be sold as separate DLC for Last Round regardless of prior ownership. This was confirmed before launch, so budget accordingly if they are characters you play regularly.

Last Round full character roster
What is included in Last Round at launch?
Last Round ships with everything from the base game plus the five previously released DLC characters: Nyotengu, Phase 4, Momiji, Rachel, and Tamaki. On top of that, Team Ninja added new costumes, visual enhancements, and a Photo Mode. There is no cross-platform play between PS5, Xbox, and PC, and rollback netcode was not confirmed for launch.
Koei Tecmo has committed to supporting Last Round with additional DLC characters and costumes post-launch, so the roster and costume pool will grow over time.
Getting the most out of Last Round
Once your costumes and save data are sorted, the real work begins. If you are jumping back into the series after a break, the Dead or Alive 6 beginner's guide covering combat, Fever Rush, and bosses is a solid place to reset your fundamentals. For players who want to push their scores higher, the Dead as Disco rhythm combat mechanics share some interesting parallels with building meter and maintaining pressure that translate across fighting games.
For everything else related to the game, the full Dead as Disco strategy guide collection has you covered with more detailed breakdowns on combat systems and advanced techniques.
