Dead OR Alive 6 Last Round – Trailer

The fastest platinum in any recent fighting game?

Dead or Alive 6 Last Round launched on June 25, 2026 as a PS5 re-release of the 2019 fighter from Koei Tecmo's Team NINJA. The trophy list carries a difficulty rating of 2-3/10 and a platinum estimate of 15-20 hours, making it one of the more approachable completions in the fighting games genre. There are 37 trophies in total, including 1 platinum, 5 gold, 8 silver, and 23 bronze. No DLC is required, no trophies are missable, and none are glitched.

What changed from the PS4 version?

If you already have a save file from the original Dead or Alive 6 on PS4, you can transfer it to the Last Round PS5 version. There is no autopop, but triggering one combo challenge, one tutorial lesson, and one command training session after importing your save will unlock those respective trophy groups again. What you cannot skip with a save transfer: the 30 DOA Quest completions, one Arcade run, one Survival run, one Time Attack run, and all online trophies.

The three quest-related trophies (Star Catcher, Star dust, Milky Way) have also been revised. The PS4 version required earning 100 stars across quests. Last Round only requires finishing 30 quests with any star rating, which is a meaningful reduction in grind.

The one brand-new trophy exclusive to Last Round is Picture Perfect, earned by accessing Photo Mode from DOA Central in the main menu.

DOA Quest trophy tracking

DOA Quest trophy tracking

Following a structured two-step approach keeps the platinum clean and avoids backtracking.

Step 1: Training, combo challenges, and DOA quests

Start by picking a character you want to invest time in and heading straight to Command Training. This unlocks Exercise Newbie and teaches you the move inputs you will need for combo challenges. Once comfortable, move to Combo Challenge and clear all lessons for a single character to earn Unchallenged Champion.

After combo challenges, run through the full Tutorial to earn A Fighter is Born. The tutorial in DOA6 is unusually thorough for a fighting game, covering frame traps and counter timing in addition to basic inputs.

Finish 30 DOA Quests for Milky Way and its prerequisite trophies. Quest rewards also unlock costume parts and music tracks, so completing quests here serves double duty for the Wardrobe and Music trophies later.

Step 2: Online trophies and combat finishers

The online trophy cluster requires 100 ranked matches played, 50 ranked wins, and a streak of 5 consecutive wins. These can all be boosted with a friend.

To boost The Show-off and the related win trophies, have a friend search for ranked matches simultaneously. When you both find a match at the same time, accept. If you do not match against each other, decline and search again. Once the 5-win streak is done, alternate wins in a 2-1 pattern per session to efficiently stack both players' match and win counts.

How do you earn the combat finisher trophies?

Three trophies require winning matches with specific Break System moves. All are easiest against the AI in Versus mode.

  • Rushing It (Fatal Rush): Press the Break button repeatedly to trigger the auto-combo finisher. Use it against level 1 AI.
  • Smashing It (Break Blow): Press forward plus the Break button when your Break Gauge is full. Level 1 AI works fine.
  • Grabbing It (Break Hold): Press back plus the Break button while being hit, with at least 50% of your Break Gauge remaining. Use level 3 AI or higher since level 1 opponents rarely attack.
  • No Escape!: With a full Break Gauge, start a Break Blow, then immediately press the Hold button to cancel it, then land any 3-hit combo to finish the opponent.

What is the easiest way to get a perfect win?

I See Through It All requires winning a match without taking a single hit. Set the AI to level 1 difficulty in Versus mode and reduce the health setting to the minimum. At level 1, the opponent rarely attacks with any aggression, making a clean sweep straightforward.

Wardrobe and collectible trophies

Costumes and music tracks unlock passively through DOA Quest rewards. After finishing quests, check DOA Central for newly unlocked items. Buying one costume earns Adept Shopper, buying one music track earns Melomaniac, and buying a title earns Wise Manners. All purchases use in-game currency earned through normal play.

Is Dead or Alive 6 Last Round worth buying for the platinum?

At $39.99 on the PS5 PlayStation Store, Last Round sits below most modern AAA releases. The platinum sits at a rated difficulty of 3/10 with a 15-20 hour estimate, and the online trophies are boostable with a single friend, which removes the most unpredictable variable from the run. The Photo Mode trophy is a one-tap unlock. The only trophies that require any real effort are the combo challenge completion and the 100 ranked matches, both of which are grindable rather than skill-gated.
