Ones to Watch is the opening campaign of EA Sports FC 27 FUT, and Savio is one of the standout cards on offer. The Tottenham Hotspur winger, formerly at Manchester City, is tucked behind a multi-layered Objective set rather than sitting in a pack or the Season Pass. That means no luck required, but you will need patience and a bit of squad-building know-how.
What do you need to do to unlock Ones to Watch Savio?
The short answer: complete the entire Ones We Watched Challenge Completionist Objective set. That group contains four separate Objectives, and each one links to its own bracket of sub-challenges. Work through each bracket in order and the Savio card drops at the end.
All four challenges are played in the offline Ones We Watched mode, so you are not exposed to the online grind here. The trade-off is that the Legendary difficulty bracket requires you to win four matches at the highest offline difficulty setting, so this is not a freebie for players still getting comfortable with the game.
You have a full month to finish everything, which is generous. The real pressure is the Legendary bracket, not the clock.

FC 27 Guide: How to Unlock Ones to Watch Savio Card for Free
Ones We Watched Semi-Pro Challenge
The easiest bracket. Four tasks, all manageable at Semi-Pro difficulty.
| Objective | Requirement | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Win 1 | Win 1 match | 2x 75+ Players Pack |
| Assist 3 | Assist 3 goals | Consumables Pack |
| Play 2 | Play 2 matches with min. 1 Spanish player in your Starting 11 | 750 Coins |
| Score 1 | Score in 1 match | Hunter Consumable + Shadow Consumable |
Ones We Watched Professional Challenge
The scoring requirement here is the one that trips players up. You need goals in 5 separate matches while fielding a Serie A player.
| Objective | Requirement | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Top Scorer | Score in 5 separate matches with min. 1 Serie A player in Starting 11 | 2x 75+ Players Pack |
| Win 1 | Win 1 match | 1,750 Coins |
| Assister | Assist 2 goals in 1 match | Consumables Pack |
| Play 1 | Play 1 match | Sentinel Consumable + Deadeye Consumable |
Ones We Watched World Class Challenge
Difficulty steps up here, and two of the four tasks have specific scoring conditions.
| Objective | Requirement | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| Pep's Domination | Win 1 match | Evo |
| Finesse | Score two Finesse goals in 3 separate matches | Maestro Consumable |
| Serial Winner | Assist 1 goal with min. 1 Spanish player in Starting 11 | 1,500 Coins |
| PL Scorer | Score with a Premier League player | 2x 75+ Players Pack |
Ones We Watched Legendary Challenge
This is the bracket that will test you. Four wins at Legendary difficulty is the hardest single ask in the entire Savio Objective chain.
| Objective | Requirement | Reward |
|---|---|---|
| The Final Challenge | Win 4 matches | 10x 75+ Players Pack |
| Defensive Masterclass | Win 1 match | 3x 80+ Players Pack |
| Score 5 | Score 5 times | 5,000 Coins |
| Play 1 | Play 1 match | 2x 78+ Players Pack |
After testing the Legendary AI across multiple sessions, the CPU presses high and punishes sloppy passes in midfield far more aggressively than at World Class. Build out from the back carefully, use your best-rated players in the Starting 11, and do not neglect your defensive line's positioning.
How to build your squad for the Spanish and Serie A requirements
Several tasks across the four brackets ask for Spanish or Serie A players in your Starting 11. You do not need to rebuild your whole squad. A single qualifying player on the bench will not count, but slotting one into your Starting 11 at a position where they will not disrupt your shape is enough.
For Spanish players, La Liga cards are the obvious source. For Serie A, Serie A club cards work. Both leagues have affordable 75-rated options on the transfer market that will satisfy the requirement without costing you significant coins.

FC 27 Guide: How to Unlock Ones to Watch Savio Card for Free
Is the Savio card worth the grind?
Savio is one of the stronger cards available during the Ones to Watch campaign, and the offline nature of the Ones We Watched challenges means you earn a stack of packs and coins on the way to him. The 10x 75+ Players Pack and 3x 80+ Players Pack from the Legendary bracket alone give you decent fodder for Squad Foundation objectives or SBC submissions.
The only genuine barrier is the Legendary difficulty win requirement. If that difficulty level is currently above your comfort zone, spend time in Squad Battles first to calibrate your play style before attempting the Ones We Watched Legendary bracket.
What else is in the Ones to Watch campaign?
Savio is just one piece of the Ones to Watch launch. The campaign includes a range of upgraded cards distributed through the Season Pass and other Objective sets.
