Forza Horizon 6: All you need to know ...

The What a Rush! daily challenge in Forza Horizon 6 is one of the more straightforward tasks in the Winter Festival Series 1 third week lineup. You just need to finish one of three specific Horizon Rush events scattered across the map. No need to chase a perfect run or a 3-star time, just cross the final checkpoint and the reward is yours.

What is the What a Rush! challenge?

The What a Rush! challenge is a daily objective that asks you to complete any Horizon Rush event. These are scripted, story-mode-style events tied to the career campaign, and each one puts you behind the wheel of a specific car on a specific course. Once you have cleared the main campaign, every Horizon Rush event stays accessible on your map for replays, so there is no barrier to jumping in whenever you need to knock out this challenge.

Where are all three Horizon Rush events?

There are exactly three Horizon Rush events in the game, each in a distinct region with its own car and course type. Here is a breakdown of all three locations and what to expect from each.

Pier Pressure

Location: Tokyo City docks

This event is an obstacle time attack. The game hands you a Ford RS200 Evolution for the run, so there is no need to bring your own car. The docks setting keeps things relatively contained, making this one of the faster options if you just want to clear the challenge and move on.

Off Piste

Location: North region, near the ski resort

This is a mountain downhill run and the assigned car is the Peugeot 207 Super 2000. The course uses the northern terrain, so expect some off-road sections and elevation changes. Still very manageable without pushing for a clean time.

Launch Control

Location: Irokawa Space Centre, southwest coast

The most dramatic setting of the three. You drive a Subaru WRX STI ARX Supercar through a speed-run at the space centre on the southwest coast. If you want to feel like you earned the reward, this is the one to pick.

What do you get for completing What a Rush!?

Finishing the challenge rewards you with 1 Playlist Point and 5,000 Credits. It is a quick daily tick that contributes to your seasonal playlist progress, which matters if you are chasing the bigger playlist rewards for the Winter Festival Series 1 week.

Tips for finishing fast

  • Head to Pier Pressure at the Tokyo City docks first if you are already in the city area. It is compact and the Ford RS200 Evolution handles the obstacles well.
  • For Off Piste, the Peugeot 207 Super 2000 is tuned for the terrain, so trust the car and avoid overcorrecting on the downhill sections.
  • Launch Control is straightforward as a speed-run. Keep the Subaru WRX STI ARX on the main path and you will hit the checkpoints without issue.
  • None of these events require a star rating to trigger the daily challenge. A basic completion is enough.
