Forza Horizon 6 Treasure Hunt location ...

The Welcome to Japan Autumn season is live in Forza Horizon 6, and one of the quickest wins on the new task list is the Minamino Treasure Hunt. The chest sits on the Minamino golf course, and smashing through it drops a clean 100,000 Credits with almost no effort. Here's exactly where to go and what to expect.

Where is the Minamino Treasure Hunt chest?

The chest is on the Minamino golf course, positioned at the top of a hill within the course grounds. Pull up your map, find the Minamino region, and look for the golf course marker. The chest icon should appear once you're close enough for the game to register it.

If you've already driven through the area, you can fast travel directly to the nearest point and cut across the course. If you haven't unlocked fast travel to that spot yet, approach from one of the roads bordering the course and drive uphill until the chest comes into view.

How do you collect the Treasure Hunt chest?

Unlike Barn Finds or Treasure Cars, there's no cutscene, no prompt, and no secondary objective to complete first. You drive into the chest and smash through it, exactly the same way you collect Horizon XP boards and Mascots scattered across the map. One clean hit and the reward is yours.

What do you get from the Minamino Treasure Hunt?

The reward for finding and smashing the chest is 100,000 Credits. That's the full payout, deposited directly into your account.

Credits in Forza Horizon 6 cover car purchases, house upgrades, vehicle tuning, and cosmetic customization. 100,000 is a solid bump, especially early in a new season when you might be eyeing cars or upgrades tied to the Welcome to Japan playlist rewards.

How does this compare to other FH6 treasure activities?

Treasure Hunts are the fastest Credit earners in the seasonal playlist, but they're not the only hidden collectibles worth tracking down. Barn Finds require unlocking through Discover Japan stamps and trigger a full recovery sequence, while Treasure Cars are parked in specific spots across the map and need to be physically driven to a festival site.

For a broader look at free cars hiding across Japan's map, the Forza Horizon 6 all Treasure Car locations guide covers every one of the 9 collectible vehicles with exact spots. If you're also working through hidden vehicles the slower way, the FH6 Barn Finds locations guide maps out all 15 across each region.

Is the Minamino chest worth going out of your way for?

Absolutely. The whole run takes under five minutes if you know where to go, and 100,000 Credits is the same payout you'd get from the Ohtani Treasure Hunt chest earlier in the playlist. There's no skill check, no race to win, and no randomness involved. It's free money for a short detour.

The chest also contributes toward your Autumn playlist completion, which matters if you're chasing the full reward track for the season.

For everything else the Autumn season has to offer, the full Forza Horizon 6 guides collection has you covered on races, challenges, and seasonal rewards.
