The 1983 Nissan 240RS arrives through Car Pass on November 19, 2026, with automatic garage delivery at no additional in-game cost. Your edition of Forza Horizon 6 determines whether you already have the required pass or need to purchase it separately.
The Nissan belongs to the City Life update's paid car lineup, separate from its Festival Playlist rewards. Its Group B rally background makes it a car to consider for Japan's rough roads, but its stock setup is rear-wheel drive, not AWD.
When does the Nissan 240RS become available?
As of November 5, 2026, the Nissan 240RS is not available yet. City Life's Festival Playlist begins before this particular Car Pass vehicle releases.
The update and the individual car have different availability dates:
| Content | Availability begins |
|---|---|
| City Life Festival Playlist | November 5, 2026 |
| 1983 Nissan 240RS through Car Pass | November 19, 2026 |

Nissan 240RS
You do not need to earn Festival Playlist points for this Nissan. The reduced points requirements introduced with City Life apply to Playlist reward cars, not its Car Pass additions.
If you want another Nissan collection target while waiting, the Forza Horizon 6 Nissan Figaro guide covers a Treasure Car obtained through exploration.
Which editions include Car Pass?
Car Pass is included with Deluxe Edition, Premium Edition, and Premium Upgrade. Standard Edition owners can purchase the pass separately.
| Edition or purchase | Car Pass included? | What to do for the Nissan |
|---|---|---|
| Standard Edition | No | Purchase Car Pass separately, or obtain it through an eligible upgrade |
| Deluxe Edition | Yes | Use the included pass |
| Premium Edition | Yes | Use the included pass |
| Premium Upgrade | Yes | Use the included pass |
| Separate Car Pass purchase | Yes, as the purchased DLC | Use the pass with your game |
Check your existing extras before buying
Car Pass delivers 30 cars through weekly releases. Check whether your existing edition includes it before buying another package specifically for the 240RS.
Premium owners managing their other included cars and extras can use the Forza Horizon 6 Premium Edition bonus content guide for those separate claims.
How do you receive it without spending credits?
Car Pass automatically adds each newly released vehicle to your garage. You do not need to purchase the Nissan from the Autoshow to receive its included delivery.
Once the car's release is active and you have Car Pass, use this short checklist:
- Open your Garage.
- Look for the 1983 Nissan 240RS.
- Select the delivered car to drive it.
Automatic delivery versus credit purchases
The car also has an Autoshow price and supports Auction House listings. Those are credit-purchase routes, not steps required for its Car Pass delivery.
| Acquisition route | In-game credit cost | Recommendation |
|---|---|---|
| Automatic Car Pass delivery | No additional CR | Check your garage first |
| Autoshow purchase | 140,000 CR | Use only if you intend to purchase a copy with credits |
| Auction House listing | Depends on the listing | Compare the listing before bidding or buying |
The credit-purchase routes still require the car's DLC. An Autoshow price is not a substitute for owning the required content.
If the DLC requirement puts you off the 240RS, compare other acquisition routes in the Forza Horizon 6 car list and unlock guide.
What are its stock class, drivetrain, and power?
The figures below describe the stock configuration, before upgrades or conversions. Use the class, car type, and drivetrain together when deciding where you want to drive it.
| Specification | Stock Nissan 240RS |
|---|---|
| Class and Performance Index | B 545 |
| Car type | Rally Monsters |
| Rarity | Rare |
| Engine | 2.34L naturally aspirated inline-four |
| Power | 265 hp |
| Torque | 184 ft-lb |
| Engine position | Front-engine |
| Drivetrain | RWD |
| Transmission | Five-speed |
| Weight | 2,249 lbs (1,020 kg) |
| Weight distribution | 55% front, 45% rear |
Stock performance ratings
Offroad is the Nissan's highest listed rating, while Launch is its lowest. Its ratings point toward rough-road use, not a stock car chosen primarily for acceleration from a standstill.
| Performance category | Stock rating |
|---|---|
| Speed | 5.2 |
| Handling | 5.2 |
| Acceleration | 4.1 |
| Launch | 2.8 |
| Braking | 4.4 |
| Offroad | 7.3 |
These category ratings are not measured top-speed or acceleration times. The Speed figure, for example, is not a speed in mph.
Is the Nissan 240RS suited to gravel and tarmac?
Yes. NISMO developed the 240RS from the Silvia platform for Group B rally, with a lightweight, durable design. Its City Life car description specifically highlights handling on gravel and tarmac stages and recommends taking it onto Horizon Japan's roughest roads.
Choose it if you want a classic rally car for those surfaces. Its rally classification does not mean it arrives with an all-wheel-drive setup, so check the drivetrain before choosing it for an event with specific restrictions.
Can you convert the Nissan 240RS to AWD?
An AWD drivetrain conversion is available. That is an optional change to the car, not part of the delivered stock specification.
Engine conversions also include the 1.6L I4 - Turbo Rally, 2.0L F4 - Turbo Rally, and Racing 3.0L I6T, among other choices. These provide alternatives if you want to change the original naturally aspirated engine, but they are not needed to obtain the car.
Keep the factory setup if you want the original rear-wheel-drive Group B configuration. Choose the AWD conversion only if that is the drivetrain you want for your upgraded version.
