The fastest path to 100% in Gecko Gods
Gecko Gods is a cozy puzzle platformer from developer Inresin, and it's one of the more completion-friendly games to release in 2026. There are 17 achievements in total, zero missable ones, and the whole run takes around 5 hours according to the Spire of Completion's guide. The game stays open after the credits roll, so nothing is locked off if you miss something on the first pass. That said, knowing where the 28 Relics are hiding before you start saves a lot of backtracking.
The achievement list breaks cleanly into three groups: story milestones you'll unlock just by playing, a handful of miscellaneous tasks, and the collectible hunts that require actual effort. This guide covers all three, with full Relic locations organized by island.
info
Save file data is stored at AppData > LocalLow > Inresin > Gecko Gods on PC. The game does not support manual saves, so progress is handled automatically.

All 10 islands to explore
What are all the story achievements in Gecko Gods?
Story achievements unlock automatically as you progress through the main campaign. You cannot miss any of them, and none require side tasks. Here's the full list:
All 11 of these come naturally. Just play the game.
Miscellaneous achievements: what else do you need?
Three achievements sit outside the story and collectible categories. Two require some light grinding; one is the completion capstone.
Explorer! asks you to visit all 10 islands in the archipelago. The full list is: River Temple, Singing Peaks, Sailing Isle, Ancient Hill, Great Desert, The Volcano, and 4 Tiny Islands. After setting foot on each one, open the Guide menu with the G key and the achievement will pop.
Money Machine requires you to collect 10,000 Gems cumulatively. Smash vases and defeat enemies as you explore. The Spire of Completion guide confirms this tracks across multiple saves, so there's no pressure to hit the threshold in a single run.
Completionist unlocks automatically once every other achievement is earned.
info
Open the Guide menu after visiting your 10th island right away. The Explorer! achievement won't trigger until you actually open the menu, even if you've already been everywhere.
How do you find all 28 Relics?
Relics are the main collectible challenge in Gecko Gods. There are 28 total, spread across 7 island areas. Unlike Insects, they don't respawn or appear randomly. Each one is hidden in a specific optional area, and several require solving a puzzle or pulling a lever before the Relic becomes accessible.
Insects, by contrast, spawn randomly in small groups around each island. Eat every new Insect you encounter using LMB as you explore and you'll naturally complete the collection of all 28 without needing a dedicated hunt. The Big Lunch achievement (eat one of every Insect) and the Treasure Hunter achievement (collect every Relic) both feed into Hoarder, which requires completing both collections.

- Relic 5: In the hall with the Cathedral Gong, head through the small hole in the wall.

warning
The Ancient Hill Relics are gated behind specific conditions. Clear all enemies before expecting the first room to open, and don't skip the nearby puzzle for the second.

info
The Volcano Relic 6 is the trickiest in the game. The puzzle solution is presented inverted on purpose. Flip your reading of it and the answer becomes straightforward.

Is Gecko Gods worth 100%?
At a difficulty of 3 out of 10 and roughly 5 hours to complete, Gecko Gods is one of the more approachable completions available right now. The lack of missable achievements means you can explore freely without consulting a guide for every step. The Relic locations are the only part that genuinely benefits from a checklist, since several require puzzle solutions or environmental triggers that aren't obvious on a first visit.
