The Open Beta opens on July 24 and closes on July 26, running across a full weekend on both PC and PlayStation 5. No registration is required; it's free to access for everyone.
Exact start and end times haven't been officially confirmed yet. The previous Closed Beta, held in December 2025, kicked off at 12:00 AM PT and ran for 72 hours straight. If Arc System Works sticks to the same format, the schedule below is your best working estimate.

What game modes can you play?
The Open Beta isn't just a glorified training room. Arc System Works has packed in a solid range of modes for the weekend.
Online modes
- Casual Matches: Jump in without worrying about rank. Good for experimenting with unfamiliar characters.
- Ranked Matches: If you want a real read on where you stand before launch, ranked is available from day one of the beta.
Offline and local modes
- Versus Mode: Play against a friend locally or set up CPU matches to practice specific matchups at your own pace.
