Update 44.1 for PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS launched on PC on November 4, 2026, introducing a collaboration with K-pop group IVE. The crossover reaches consoles on November 12, bringing LOVE DIVE-inspired locations, character items, and emotes to the battle royale.
KRAFTON's update also brings back two PvE modes with higher difficulty, changes PUBG Fantasy ahead of PUBG Global Championship 2026, and improves spectator information and voice chat.
IVE brings LOVE DIVE locations to Rondo
Three themed IVE Spots have been added across Rondo. These areas include the IVE Mansion and emote stages, while a roulette wheel functions as a jukebox for IVE's music.
All six IVE members are represented through character likenesses, member-specific outfits, and accessories. Weapon and gear skins are also part of the collaboration's cosmetic lineup.
IVE emote stages appear on select starting islands across Rondo, Erangel, Miramar, Taego, Deston, and Vikendi.

Starting islands also get interactive elements involving the Cupid Crossbow and Cupid Chicken Man.
PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS is a free-to-play tactical battle royale where 100 players fight for survival through looting, positioning, and combat. Players looking for help with the wider game can browse the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS guides.
Two returning PvE modes raise the difficulty
The cooperative SLB: DAWNBREAKERS OF RONDO returns as HLB: DAWNBREAKERS OF RONDO. It takes players back to Jadena City, the original mode's final area, with tougher enemy pressure and more demanding defensive objectives.
Enhanced Special Hungers appear at shorter intervals. Players need more fuel cans to activate generators, while the capacitors they must defend have reduced health.
The second returning mode, Xeno Point: Hell, replaces Xeno Point's original three difficulty levels with a single Hell difficulty. It also adds a fourth sector that is harder than the previous highest difficulty level.
Xeno Point: Hell supports one to four players, with difficulty scaling to party size. Its leaderboard ranks players by their completion time for the final boss stage. The mode runs from November 18 through December 2 on PC and from November 26 through December 10 on console.
PUBG Fantasy changes ahead of PGC 2026
PUBG Fantasy is getting roster-selection and scoring changes ahead of PUBG Global Championship 2026. Players following the competitive season can also consult the PUBG: BATTLEGROUNDS Esports Points guide for the tournament points system.
Fantasy players get more time to select their rosters, and Fantasy Points and team rankings update after each match. Friend rankings and previous roster records are planned additions, separate from the changes arriving with this update.
Update 44.1 also increases the durability of select vehicles. Spectators can see players' Blue Chip status, inventory, and weapon attachments. Voice chat improvements include background noise suppression, echo cancellation, and automatic volume adjustment.
