Stellar Blade has sold an estimated 5.4 million copies across PS5 and Steam in figures published on November 7, 2026, with the PC version accounting for nearly half of the total.

The figures come from analyst Rhys Elliott of Alinea Analytics. They are third-party estimates, not a new sales total announced by developer SHIFT UP.

Steam approaches PS5 despite its later launch

Stellar Blade launched on PS5 on April 26, 2024, then reached PC on June 11, 2025. That gave the console version more than a year's head start before Steam sales began.

PS550.4%
Steam49.6%

SHIFT UP previously expected the PC version to eventually outsell PS5. The estimate leaves Steam slightly behind, but its audience is already comparable in size despite the console version's longer time on sale.

The estimates compare sales totals; they do not establish whether the PC launch increased or reduced demand for the PS5 version.

Regional demand and an uncounted Switch 2 release

The geographic breakdown groups China, Taiwan, and Hong Kong together, with users in those markets accounting for an estimated 41% of copies sold across the two platforms.

Stellar Blade also launched on Nintendo Switch 2 this week, covered in our Stellar Blade Switch 2 release guide, but that edition's sales are excluded from the estimate.

Players now have three platforms to choose from. Stellar Blade remains unavailable on Xbox consoles.
