Secret Holograms In Planet Of Lana 2

Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf hides its 10 Secret Holograms in spots that are easy to blow right past, tucked behind walls, under platforms, and in corners that the game never explicitly points you toward. If you want full completion, you need to know exactly when to stop, turn around, or drop down instead of following the obvious path. This guide breaks down every single one, chapter by chapter, so you can grab them all in a single playthrough.

How Many Secret Holograms Are in Planet of Lana II?

Planet of Lana II contains exactly 10 Secret Holograms spread across four chapters: Chapter 1, Chapter 3, Chapter 5, and Chapter 7. Chapter 3 holds the most with four holograms, while Chapter 7 rounds out the back half with another four. Missing any of them during your run means backtracking, so keep this guide handy as you play.

Chapter 1 Holograms

Hologram #1 (Captain's Quarters)

Shortly after you meet Mui, the game introduces you to hydraulic presses that teach the slide mechanic. Work your way past both presses and keep moving to the right side of the area. What looks like a dead end is actually hiding a cave entrance that only reveals itself when you walk into it. Step inside and use Mui's electric ability to unlock the chest.

Chapter 3 Holograms

Chapter 3 blizzard cave route

Hologram #2 (The Mountains)

Once you reach the snowy peaks and enter the cave, you will arrive at a fork where the intended path sends you wall-jumping upward. Ignore that instinct. Head right instead, and the camera will pull back to reveal a ledge overlooking the blizzard. Wait for the wind to die down, then drop off the ledge. Crouch left into the shelter before the next gust hits. The hologram chest is waiting inside that small alcove. Make sure Mui follows close behind so the wind does not sweep the companion away.

Hologram #3 (The Mountain Mines)

At the very start of The Mountain Mines section, you ride a large elevator down into the mine shaft. The moment it stops at the bottom, walk left rather than following the natural rightward flow of the level. A hidden room opens up immediately, and the chest sits right there. This is one of the quickest grabs in the game.

Hologram #4 (Demoa Underwater)

Deep into the beach and underwater section of Demoa, you need to use Mui to open an eye gate and then swim right past a school of fish. You will know you are in the correct spot when you enter a large open water chamber with the shadow of a massive sea creature drifting through the background. Swim straight up to break the surface, then move left along the shoreline. The chest is sitting on a small island to the left.

Hologram #5 (Demoa Facility)

Still in Demoa but now inside the facility, you encounter a camera-and-platform puzzle where a platform travels diagonally upward to the left. Ride it all the way to the top, then jump across the platforms to the right (which takes you back above the camera position). An opening at the end of this rightward path leads into a brightly lit room with the chest inside.

Chapter 5 Holograms

Hologram #6 (Wemari Forest)

In the lush jungle of Wemari Forest, you will reach a tall wall on the right side that requires Mui to mind-control a creature and water some plants to create a climbing path. Push through that section and continue until you hit your second Fire Wasp beehive encounter of the level. Swing across the rope, then wall-jump up to a small platform tucked into the top-left corner. From there, run and jump left to pull yourself up into an alcove where Hologram #6 is waiting.

Chapter 7 Holograms

Chapter 7 packs in four holograms across three distinct sub-areas: The Wastelands and The City. Pay extra attention here because two of the four require you to move against the natural momentum of the level at critical transition points.

Hologram #7 (The Wastelands, Robot Junkyard)

After using a magnet robot to push through a large metal door in The Wastelands, you end up beneath an enormous robot carcass. Climb a rope to clear the obstacle ahead, then continue right through the wreckage. When you reach a platform you would normally climb on top of (robots with glowing red eyes are visible in the foreground but will not attack), crawl underneath it instead. The hologram chest is hidden in that low gap.

Hologram #8 (The Wastelands, Elevator)

Further into The Wastelands, after navigating an underwater section where Lana transforms into a small fish, you find an elevator. Call Mui onto the elevator with you and ride it all the way to the top. At the summit, do not climb up and to the left. Instead, crouch and move toward the wall directly behind you. The chest is tucked back there, easy to walk past if you immediately head for the exit.

Hologram #9 (The City, Ventilation Shaft)

After jumping across the sunny rooftops of The City, you drop underground into what looks like a large ventilation shaft. Two rectangular platforms sit in the foreground with giant fans spinning in the background. Jump across to the far right side and drop down. Before going through the right-side door (which continues the main path), turn around and run all the way left through the opposite door. The hologram chest is at the end of that left passage.

Hologram #10 (The End, Conveyor Belt)

This is the final hologram and the one most players miss because of what comes right after it. Near the end of Chapter 7, you navigate a conveyor belt area filled with security cameras and blue lights. At the belt's end, you jump right onto a ledge. Stop completely at this point. Going right leads directly to the final boss and the end of the game. Instead, jump back left to grab onto a ledge, then crawl through a gap and drop down. Hologram #10 is at the bottom of that drop.

What Happens When You Collect All 10 Secret Holograms?

Collecting all 10 Secret Holograms in Planet of Lana II: Children of the Leaf contributes to full completion of the game. Each hologram represents a hidden memory or record tucked into the world, rewarding players who explore thoroughly rather than rushing the main story. Tracking them all down in one playthrough saves considerable time compared to replaying chapters after the credits roll.
