The Care Center in Resident Evil Requiem is full of locked doors, lurking zombies, and one very unsettling open corpse in the Examination Room. That body isn't just grim set dressing though. It's the key to obtaining the Level 2 ID Wristband, which opens the Isolation Ward and puts you on the path to the Security Office. You'll need to track down two specific quest items: the Artificial Lungs and the Artificial Heart. Here's exactly how to pull it off.
What Is the Organless Corpse Puzzle?
When you first interact with the body in the Examination Room (located in the East Wing of the Care Center), a computer readout tells you the corpse is missing two vital organs. Slot in both the Artificial Lungs and the Artificial Heart, and the body reanimates. Defeat the reanimated corpse, and you'll claim the Level 2 ID Wristband from its wrist. That wristband is essential for accessing locked areas deeper in the Care Center, including the only route to the Security Office.

How to Get the Artificial Lungs
Step 1: Grab the Level 1 ID Wristband
Before you can reach the Garage where the lungs are stored, you need the Level 1 ID Wristband. Head to the stairs just south of the Nurse's Station and take out the two zombies waiting at the top. The wristband is sitting on the floor up there. Be ready to move fast, because the Chunk Zombie (a massive enemy you definitely don't want to fight head-on early) patrols this area.
Step 2: Get the Corrosive Substance
With the wristband in hand, make your way to the Conference Room. Three standard zombies and one shrieking Zombie are waiting inside. Deal with all of them, especially the shrieking one, since eliminating it is tied to a trophy. Once the room is clear, pick up the Corrosive sitting on a surface beneath the light.

Don't skip the shrieking Zombie in the Conference Room. Defeating it is required for a specific trophy, and you won't get another chance if you rush past.
Step 3: Solve the Lead Researcher's Office Puzzle
Head to the Lead Researcher's Office and use the Corrosive on the blue padlock securing the puzzle box at the back of the room. The office walls display pictures of the researchers, which hint at the correct sequence. The solution is: Star, Sun, Moon, Sun. Completing this unlocks the box and rewards you with the Sun Quartz and the Notebook. That notebook is critical for the next step.

Step 4: Retrieve the Artificial Lungs from the Garage
Now head to the West Wing, move past the Parlor, and deal with the zombie in the corridor. This particular zombie can mutate, so using a Hemolytic Injector here is a smart call if you have one. At the end of the corridor, use the Level 1 ID Wristband on the door to enter the Custodian's Office and grab the Wrench (you'll need it shortly). Continue into the Garage.
Inside, locate the Organ Transport Box sitting in the back of the open truck. Rotate the box to access the lock mechanism, then use the Notebook from the Lead Researcher's puzzle to work out the combination and open it. The Artificial Lungs are inside. Before you leave, there's also a zombie inside a digger you'll need to shoot to clear a mini-boss encounter.
How to Get the Artificial Heart
With the Wrench already in your inventory from the Custodian's Office, head to Cold Storage in the West Wing. You'll recognize the door by the large wheel valve at the end of the corridor. Interact with the valve and it snaps off, which is where the Wrench comes in. Use it in place of the broken valve to force the door open. Step inside and take the Artificial Heart hanging from the rack in the center of the room.

Don't try to force the Cold Storage door open without the Wrench. The wheel valve will break when you first interact with it, and the Wrench is the only way to proceed. Make sure you've visited the Custodian's Office first.
How to Complete the Organless Corpse Puzzle
With both organs secured, return to the Examination Room and interact with the body on the table. Place the Artificial Lungs and the Artificial Heart inside the corpse. The body immediately reanimates and attacks, so be ready for a fight. Once you take it down, loot the Level 2 ID Wristband from its wrist.
