Titles in Anime Zero are more than cosmetic tags floating above your username. Equip the right one and you get stacked stat bonuses, from damage multipliers and HP boosts to cooldown reductions and improved drop rates. There are 28 titles in total, and some of them require serious grinding to earn. This guide covers every title, what it actually gives you, and the fastest path to the ones worth chasing.
What are the best titles in Anime Zero?
After testing titles across dungeon runs and boss fights, three stand out as the strongest options available right now.
S-Rank Hunter is the top pick. It delivers +18% DMG, +20% Maximum HP, +3.5 Movement Speed, 6% Cooldown Reduction, and 3% Critical Chance. That combination of offense and survivability makes it the most well-rounded title in the game. The catch: you need to clear the Shadow Gate Raid twice as Shadow Monarch without dying.
Flame Director slots in close behind with +15% DMG, +20% Maximum HP, +3.5 Movement Speed, 5% Cooldown Reduction, and a 5% Drop Rate bonus. The drop rate bump makes this especially useful for farming materials. To unlock it, clear the Spirit's Bathtub Raid as Flame Director without using your Ultimate skill.
Dragon Eclipse rounds out the top three with the highest raw damage boost in the game at +20% DMG, plus 5% Maximum HP and a 10% Drop Rate increase. The HP gain is modest, but 20% DMG is hard to argue with. You earn it by defeating 25 bosses as Dragon Eclipse on Hard difficulty or above without dying.

Which title should you unlock first?
The answer depends entirely on where you are in progression.
For new players, Awakened is the obvious starting point. Awaken any single character and you pick up +7% DMG and 4% CDR with essentially no grind attached. Rubber Man is similarly low-effort since it just requires clearing 15 dungeons on any difficulty, netting +5% DMG and +8% EXP to speed up your leveling.
Cosmic Warrior is another early target. Clear any dungeon in under 3 minutes as Cosmic Warrior and you get +4% DMG and a 10% Drop Rate bonus. That drop rate boost pays dividends when you are farming materials.
For mid-game players, Shadow Monarch is a grind but a manageable one. Defeat 1,000 enemies as Shadow Monarch and you walk away with +12% DMG, +10% HP, +5% CDR, and +5% EXP. The enemy count sounds steep but it accumulates naturally through regular dungeon farming.
For players pushing endgame content, S-Rank Hunter is the clear target. The Shadow Gate Raid is demanding, and completing it twice as Shadow Monarch without dying requires a polished build. To maximize your damage output before attempting it, read through the Anime Zero max damage build guide to make sure your setup is ready.
How do milestone titles work?
The eight titles with no listed buffs (Millionaire, Beyond Limits, Gacha Master, Hoarder, Collector's Workshop, Evolution Master, Arsenal Master, and Dungeon Legend) function as prestige markers. They signal progression depth rather than providing stat advantages. Hitting 10,000,000 coins or crafting every accessory takes significant time investment, and these titles acknowledge that without rewarding a mechanical edge.
That said, grinding toward some of these milestones is worthwhile anyway. Awakening 5 characters for Evolution Master also earns you the Awakened title along the way. Fully unlocking skill trees on 4 characters for Arsenal Master builds your roster for title challenges that require specific characters.

Exclusive and gamepass titles
Three titles are locked to specific roles within the Anime Zero group: Tester, Content Creator, and Developer. These are not available to regular players. Owner and Moderator follow the same pattern.
V.I.P is the only purchasable title, requiring the VIP or VIP+ Gamepass. The buffs (+8% Coins, +8% EXP, +3% Drop Rate) are modest compared to the grind-earned options, but the EXP and coin bonuses stack with everything else and pay off passively over time.
Tips for grinding titles efficiently
A few patterns make the title grind significantly faster.
- Stack character-specific requirements. Many titles need kills or clears on a specific character. Plan your farming sessions around one character at a time rather than switching between them.
- Hard difficulty is the sweet spot for most titles. Several unlock conditions specify Hard or above. Running Nightmare is harder and slower unless your build can handle it cleanly.
- No-death runs require preparation. Check your HP, cooldowns, and damage output before attempting titles that prohibit dying. Bringing an underpowered build into a Nightmare Dungeon for Cataclysm or Cursed King is a reliable way to waste time.
- Trials count for Silver Calamity specifically. The 1,000 enemy requirement for Silver Calamity is tied to Trials mode, so standard dungeon farming will not count toward it.
- Farming enemies for Hoarder doubles up with material collection. If you are working toward 5,000 material drops, run dungeons that drop the crafting materials you actually need so the grind serves two purposes.
