The hardest raid in Bizarre Lineage, broken down zone by zone
The Prison Escape Raid is the most mechanically demanding content in Bizarre Lineage right now. Five zones, multiple boss encounters, a keycard system that will brick your run if you show up unprepared, and an alliance mechanic that actually changes how the final bosses play out. Compared to something like the Avdol raid or even the DIO raid, this one asks a lot more from you before you even step inside. Get the prep right, and it becomes one of the best farming routes in the game.
What do you need before entering the Prison Escape Raid?
This is where most players stumble. The raid has a two-tier keycard system, and both cards have specific acquisition requirements you need to sort out before queuing.
Lower Keycard comes from Emporio and costs $5,000 in-game currency plus a Burner Phone. The Higher Keycard requires you to hand Prisoner Connor three Dio's Bones. That second requirement is the real barrier for new players, since Dio's Bones need to come from earlier raid farming (the DIO raid at Bus Stop 13 or the World Over Heaven Raid both drop them).
The raid is accessible from Bus Stop 1 (SE), which puts it at the southeastern end of the map. You need to be at least level 50 to realistically survive the encounter chain.
How does the alliance system work?
Before the raid escalates into its hardest encounters, you get to pick a side. The two alliance options are Jolyne and Weather Report, and the choice directly affects which late-stage boss gets easier.
- Ally with Jolyne to get support against Pucci C-Moon
- Ally with Weather Report to get support against Pucci True Made in Heaven
Neither option makes the other boss trivial, but the assistance is meaningful enough that you should decide based on which fight your build handles worse. Sustain-heavy builds tend to manage C-Moon better solo, making the Weather Report alliance the smarter pick for most setups. Test both over multiple clears to see what works for your Stand.

Alliance selection before final bosses
What is the boss order in the Prison Escape Raid?
The raid runs through five zones with a fixed encounter sequence. Knowing what's coming lets you pace your cooldowns instead of blowing everything on the first fight.
- Jotaro Kujo (Part 6) — the opening encounter, tests your basic raid readiness
- Anasui — second zone, ramps up pressure
- Viviana / Planet Waves — mid-raid encounter with zone mechanics
- Pucci C-Moon — first of the two major Pucci fights, alliance support applies here if you chose Jolyne
- Pucci True Made in Heaven + 2 Secret Bosses — the final stretch, alliance support from Weather Report applies here
The two secret bosses in the final zone are the biggest surprise for first-timers. Don't assume the raid ends after True MIH spawns.
What drops from the Prison Escape Raid?
This raid has one of the largest drop pools in the game, covering key crafting materials, motorcycle parts, keycards, and a solid accessory selection.

How does the Prison Escape Raid compare to other raids?
Knowing where this fits in the raid progression helps you decide when to attempt it.
The Prison Escape Raid sits at the top of the difficulty curve. The DIO raid and World Over Heaven raid are better starting points if your build isn't fully tested yet. Check our Bizarre Lineage tier list to confirm your Stand is raid-ready before committing to the level 50 content.
Farming strategy: what should you actually prioritize?
Deep Stone and Unbreakable Essence are the two items that make this raid worth repeating. Deep Stone feeds into TWOH crafting alongside the Heaven Ascended Elixirs you farm from the World Over Heaven Raid. Unbreakable Essence is the only way to evolve to SPTW, so if that's your target Stand, Prison Escape becomes a mandatory farm.
For motorcycle crafting, both the Wheel and Body drop here exclusively, so there's no alternative route.
Dio's Diary and Dio's Bone also drop here, which is useful if you're already clearing Prison Escape regularly and want to stack materials for the Higher Keycard or other crafting needs without running separate raids.
