Clover RPG hands you a character full of RNG from the moment you create it. Your Race rolls randomly, your Magic unlocks at Level 15 with a spin of the wheel, enchantments drop from chests without warning, and the weapon pool spans over 50 options across three weight classes. Knowing which outcomes are worth keeping and which ones deserve an immediate reroll is the difference between a build that carries you through endgame and one that stalls out in mid-game. This tier list covers all four systems in Roblox Clover RPG, ranked from S to D.

How do the tiers work in Clover RPG?

Before diving into the rankings, here is what each tier actually means for your decision-making:

  • S Tier: Keep it. These options offer standout advantages that hold up in endgame play.
  • A Tier: Strong alternatives that perform well across a wide range of builds and situations.
  • B Tier: Functional for early and mid-game progression. They get the job done but face real competition from higher tiers later.
  • C Tier: Situational or average. Worth replacing once better options are accessible.
  • D Tier: Starter-level gear or the weakest options in their category. Replace these as soon as possible.

Clover RPG Magics tier list

You unlock your Magic at Level 15 by completing the quest at Wisdom Peak. There are 7 obtainable Magics right now, each with its own roll chance and cosmetic variants. A Magic Reroll lets you try again if you land something you do not want. Rarer Magics tend to come with more developed kits, and that pattern holds clearly here.

TierMagicRoll Chance

AShadow15%
ALightning15%

BFlame22%
BLight22%

S tier: Time

Time sits alone at S tier for good reason. Its 1% roll chance makes it the rarest Magic in the game, and the kit backs that rarity up. Rewind reverses recent damage on a 16-second cooldown, which is a recovery tool no other Magic can match. Slow Zone, Time Stop, and Warping Blitz round out a control-heavy kit that works in both PvP and PvE. Chrono Surge adds a mana-consuming reposition option. The cosmetic variants (Gilded, Monochrome, Cosmic) are also among the best-looking in the game. If you roll Time, keep it.

A tier Magics

Beast lands at A tier despite its 5% roll chance. The kit built around Holy Hunting, Feral Impact, Howling Slash, and Vicious Assault makes it a strong pursuit option with 9 to 13-second cooldowns. The Silverfang and Duskfang variants are two of the cleanest designs available.

Shadow suits aggressive hit-and-run combat. The kit includes Shadow Annihilation (three delayed homing orbs), Void Beam, and Tendril, which slows and tethers. The tether's 50-second cooldown limits how often you can set it up, but the overall pressure it applies is real. It pairs well with Dark Elf for a spell damage-focused build. Variants include Void, Bloodshade, Miasma, and Phantom.

Lightning has the most cosmetic variants of any Magic at five options (Storm, Solar, Verdant, Bloodstorm, Ignis), which signals genuine developer investment. Stormcaller's Respite gives a 40% chance to imbue basic attacks with thunder for 10 seconds after a Lightning ability lands, making it a natural fit for weapon-hybrid builds.

B tier Magics

Wind, Flame, and Light all land at B tier, not because they are weak, but because they are the most common rolls (20%, 22%, and 22% respectively) and their kits are more straightforward than the A tier options.

Wind has seven skills built around aerial movement and knockback, with Aerial Efficiency cutting airborne spell mana costs by 30%. Flame adds a bind (Binding Flame) and a stun (Fire Stomp) to an explosive kit, with Amplified Wrath rewarding basic attacks against burning targets. Light is the most versatile, combining Divine Light (self-heal), Divine Field (ally heal), and Blindstrike with ranged and aerial options. The 60-second cooldown on the base heal is a real limitation.

All three are functional working Magics while you save for a reroll toward something rarer.

Clover RPG Races tier list

Your Race is assigned at character creation and cannot be reset by wiping your character. Race Rerolls are your only path to a different race, obtainable from the main menu (untradable), in-game purchase (tradable), player trading, or as a rare drop from Gladiator. There are 7 obtainable Races currently. Archangel exists in the game data but sits at 0% and is unobtainable.

BDryad6%Passive health regen when wounded, +10 Energy

S tier Races

Lesser Demon (1%) is built for sustained melee pressure. Wrath Unbound stacks 2.5% physical damage per hit without being hit, up to 10 stacks for a +25% ceiling. Hellsworn speeds up Devil Contract progression and extends Devil Mode duration. The +5% Physical Resistance and +20 HP add real bulk on top of the offensive output.

Lesser Angel (1%) is the broader survival recommendation. Divine Retribution saves you from one killing blow per life by restoring 15% HP, which is a unique safety net no other race offers. Heavenbound accelerates Spirit Contract progression and extends Spirit Surge duration. The +40 Energy and +10% Magic Resistance make it genuinely well-rounded.

A tier Races

Dark Elf (10%) is the strongest race for magic-focused builds. Spellcaster adds +5% spell damage directly, while +10% Mana Regen means you can sustain longer casting sequences without burning through potions. It pairs especially well with Shadow or Lightning Magic.

Elf (20%) is the right keep when spell costs are limiting your fights. World Tree's Blessing cuts spell mana cost by 15%, and the +20 Energy bonus is the highest of any race in this tier. If your Mana pool is consistently full when you wait on cooldowns, Dark Elf's damage bonus is more valuable. If you are regularly running dry mid-fight, Elf solves the actual problem.

B and C tier Races

Eldritch (10%) gives +2.5% physical damage on every hit without a streak requirement, plus +10 HP and +2 Max Resolve. It is the reliable physical-build pick for players who cannot land Lesser Demon, but it does not scale as impressively in late game.

Dryad (6%) triggers passive health regen when wounded and adds +10 Energy. The sustain is useful but the numbers are modest.

Human (52%) is almost certainly your first roll. The Entrepreneur perk adds +15% sell price, which helps with gold farming but contributes nothing to combat. Reroll as soon as you have the resources.

Clover RPG Enchantments tier list

Enchantments are rare effects that appear randomly on weapons found in chests. An enchanted weapon has a unique glow and text to identify it. There are 6 enchantments total, and all of them proc every few hits rather than on every swing. Their value comes entirely from how disruptive or useful those procs are when they land.

TierEnchantmentEffect
SBloodfiendSteals HP from target every few hits
SLurkTeleports you behind target every few hits
ANovaBurns target every few hits
AStatic ChainShocks target every few hits
AFrostbiteFreezes target every few hits
BValor+15% damage above 70% HP or below 30% HP

Bloodfiend is the strongest enchantment for sustained fights. Stealing HP directly from your target removes the need to burn potions and lets you trade hits more favorably than almost any other proc in the game. In long PvP bouts or difficult boss encounters, the passive sustain compounds quickly.

Lurk is the strongest disruptor. Teleporting behind your target every few hits is nearly impossible to defend against and completely shuts down players who rely on distance or defensive positioning.

Nova, Static Chain, and Frostbite all sit at A tier with reliable proc rates. Frostbite's freeze is the most disruptive status in this group and can end a fight outright if the target is low HP when it lands. Static Chain's shock interrupts mid-combo momentum. Nova's burn pressures opponents who try to disengage after taking hits.

Valor is the weakest enchantment. The +15% damage only activates above 70% HP or below 30% HP, which means most of any given fight falls in the dead zone where it does nothing. Situationally useful in burst fights or late comebacks, but outclassed by every other option.

Clover RPG Weapons tier list

Weapons split into three categories: Light, Medium, and Heavy. Light weapons attack fastest but deal the least damage per hit. Heavy weapons hit hardest but swing slowest. Medium weapons sit in between on both fronts. The key stats to track are Damage, Proficiency Scaling (how much stronger the weapon gets as Proficiency levels up), Speed (lower value means faster), and Proficiency Requirement. Whether a weapon is Craftable matters a lot because it removes RNG from your upgrade path entirely.

MournbladeHeavy2270.557No
ElkstriderHeavy2160.526Yes
Wanderer's EdgeHeavy2160.526Yes
Clover GauntletsLight1870.855No

Ceremonial Greataxe has the highest raw damage of any weapon at 23, paired with 7 Proficiency Scaling. It is the natural endgame target for Heavy builds. Mournblade is one step behind at 22 damage with the same 7 scaling, but swings slightly faster at 0.55 speed versus 0.52, which gives it a small edge in combat flow. Both sell for high values (195 coins for Mournblade).

Elkstrider and Wanderer's Edge share identical stats: 21 damage, 6 scaling, 0.52 speed, Proficiency 6 requirement, and both are craftable. They also share the highest sell price of any weapon in the game at 220 coins each. The craftable status removes all drop-dependency from your upgrade path, which is a significant advantage over non-craftable S tier options.

Clover Gauntlets lead the Light category with 18 damage and 7 Proficiency Scaling at just Proficiency 5. The speed advantage of Light weapons combined with that damage output makes Clover Gauntlets competitive with several A tier Heavy weapons.

Carnage CleaverHeavy1870.526No
BalmungMedium1760.78No
Luminous ThornLight1560.807No

Highland Axe deserves special attention: 19 damage at Proficiency 3 is one of the best damage-to-requirement ratios in the entire game. Hunt it as early as possible. Primeval Battleaxe is the craftable Heavy option at A tier, making it a reliable upgrade path target at 20 damage. Bone Reaper has the longest reach of any Heavy weapon at 10 units, which changes how you play spacing in fights.

Balmung leads the Medium category at 17 damage with 0.7 speed. Nothing else in Medium comes close on raw damage. Luminous Thorn is the second-best Light weapon at 15 damage and the highest sell price in the Light category at 175 coins.

B tier weapons

B tier contains the best stepping-stone weapons across all three categories. Notable picks include Buster Sword (17 damage at Proficiency 3, Heavy), Cinderblade (craftable Medium at 15 damage, Proficiency 5), Purple and Red Widowbane (14 damage with 7 scaling and 9.5 range, the highest scaling in the Medium category), and Elderthorne (craftable Light at 14 damage with 6 scaling).

The Widowbane variants deserve attention for their 7 Proficiency Scaling, which is the highest of any Medium weapon. At 9.5 range they also give you meaningful spacing options that lower-scaling Medium weapons cannot match.

C and D tier weapons

C tier covers early-to-mid-game options that get you past the starter phase. Claymore (13 damage, Proficiency 2, Heavy) and Winding Thorn (10 damage, Proficiency 3, Light) are the most useful early picks in their respective categories. Katana is a curiosity: 9 base damage but 7 Proficiency Scaling, the highest in the Medium category. It will not feel strong early, but the scaling has long-term potential if you commit to it.

D tier is entirely starter weapons: Dull Dagger, Dull Gauntlets, Dull Rapier, Assembly Fang, Legendary Kata, Novice Blade, and Rustic Spear. Replace every one of these the moment a C tier or better option becomes available. The Rustic Spear's 9.5 range does make it the best starter for the Medium path if you are choosing between starter options at character creation.

What are the best build combinations in Clover RPG?

The tier list tells you what is strong in isolation. Build combinations tell you what actually works together.

Caster build: Dark Elf or Elf with Shadow, Lightning, or Time Magic. Dark Elf's +5% spell damage and +10% Mana Regen directly boost your output. Elf's 15% mana cost reduction keeps you casting longer. Pair with the Arcane Rebound trait (restores 5% Mana on successful parry or dodge) for resource efficiency. Check our Clover Origins grimoires tier list for a deeper look at how magic kits rank across similar Roblox RPGs.

Physical pressure build: Lesser Demon with Flame or Lightning Magic. Flame rewards basic attacks against burning targets via Amplified Wrath. Lightning can imbue basic attacks with thunder for 10 seconds after a spell lands. Lesser Demon's Wrath Unbound stacks on those melee hits. The Graceful Escape trait (10% dodge frames at 25 Agility) is worth adding if your stat plan supports it.

Survival build: Lesser Angel with Light or Time Magic. Divine Retribution saves you from one lethal hit. Light's Divine Light heals you. Time's Rewind reverses recent damage. Three separate recovery tools in one build gives you real staying power in extended fights.

Early progression: Do not burn Race Rerolls chasing Lesser Demon or Lesser Angel before you have a working build. Weapons Expert (50% faster weapon proficiency gain, Level 5, one Point) and Mob Slayer (10% damage to mobs after 150 NPC kills, three Points) offer cleaner early value than repeated rerolls. Elf on a caster and Eldritch on a physical build are sensible keeps.

Traits worth prioritizing

Traits are purchased with Points rather than rolled randomly, so they reward planning more than luck. A few standouts:

  • Mob Slayer: +10% damage to mobs. Strong PvE priority after 150 NPC kills.
  • Arcane Rebound: Restores 5% Mana on a successful parry or dodge. Requires Level 20, 10 Intelligence, four Points, and 50 Marks.
  • Graceful Escape: +10% dodge frames for 25 Agility and three Points. Broadly useful across most builds.
  • Weapons Expert: 50% faster weapon proficiency gain at Level 5 for one Point. Excellent early value that becomes irrelevant once the relevant proficiency is done.

Budget the full prerequisite chain before committing. Iron Rebound requires Rapid Recovery first, and Unyielding Bastion follows Iron Rebound. The total Point cost across the chain is higher than the final trait alone suggests.

How should you prioritize rerolls?

Rerolls cost real resources, so spending them in the right order matters. Race Rerolls are harder to obtain than Magic Rerolls, which means your Race decision carries more weight per spin.

For Magic, Time at 1% is the clear target if you are willing to spend rerolls. If you land Beast at 5%, that is a strong hold. Shadow and Lightning at 15% are both worth keeping for the right build. Wind, Flame, and Light at 20-22% are functional but rerollable if resources allow.

For Race, Human at 52% is almost always your starting point and should be rerolled as soon as possible. Dark Elf and Elf are both worth keeping for caster builds. Eldritch is a reasonable hold for physical builds. Dryad is functional but the sustain numbers are modest enough that a reroll is reasonable if you have spares.
