Double Jump is one of those skills in Roblox Clover Time that quietly changes how you play. Boss fights become more manageable, PvP movement opens up, and you pick up a solid stat boost on top of the mobility upgrade. The whole process runs through a single NPC and three short training tasks, but knowing exactly where to go saves you from wandering the map for twenty minutes.
What do you need before starting the Neru quest?
Only one requirement stands between you and Double Jump: you must be Level 5. Below that threshold, the Neru NPC will not offer you the training quest. If you are not there yet, grind out a few early quests or boss encounters before making the trip.
tip
The Neru quest rewards are permanent stat increases, so there is no reason to delay once you hit Level 5. Do this before investing time in any other progression.
Neru sits on a rock underneath the Demon Skull, one of the more recognizable landmarks on the map. Getting there is straightforward:
Locate any Finral NPC in the world.
Use Finral to teleport directly to the Demon Skull.
From the teleport spawn point, turn right and walk underneath the Demon Skull structure.
You will see Neru sitting on a rock in that area.
Talk to him to trigger the training quest.
Clover Time Guide: How to Unlock Double Jump
How to complete the Neru training tasks
After accepting the quest, a mini-game appears on screen. The mechanic is the same across all three exercises: stop a yellow moving marker inside the green area. Miss too many and you fail.
You get 2 lives to complete all three tasks. Fail any single task and the entire set resets to zero, so pay attention to the marker speed before committing to a stop.
Here is what you need to complete:
Training Task
Repetitions Required
Sit-ups
8
Push-ups
6
Jumping Jacks
10
The marker timing is consistent within each exercise, so after the first rep you should have a feel for the rhythm. Jumping Jacks have the highest rep count at 10, but the pattern stays predictable throughout.
warning
You only have 2 lives across all three tasks combined. If you burn both lives early on sit-ups or push-ups, the entire training resets. Stay focused and do not rush the marker stops.
What rewards do you get for completing the training?
Finish all three tasks without running out of lives and you unlock the following permanently:
Double Jump ability
+75 Max Health
+35 Max Stamina
+50 Max Mana
The stat gains alone make this worth doing at Level 5 rather than putting it off. That Health boost in particular holds real value in early boss encounters where your margin for error is thin.
