How do you start the cake-baking mini game in DTI?
The quest only works in Freeplay mode. Competitive fashion show servers do not spawn the ingredients, so make sure you join the right server type before hunting.
Once you're in Freeplay, head toward the beach side of the map and find the Cooking Station in the Dressing Room area. Hold E to interact with it. This launches the mini game and gives you a checklist of all 5 ingredients you need to collect. You can grab them in any order, but the route below keeps backtracking to a minimum.

Start here since you're already near the Dressing Room after activating the quest. Walk to the Skin Tones section and look for a small stool on the right side. The Eggs sit on that stool next to a flower vase and some decorative items. Easy to miss if you're scanning the floor rather than the furniture.

Butter: surfboard shop on the beach road
Leave the Dressing area and head down the ramp toward the beach road. You'll pass a fruit shop on the left. The surfboard shop is on the right side. Check the countertop inside and pick up the Butter sitting there.
Milk: Lana's Beach House
Directly across from the surfboard shop sits Lana's Beach House, a light green building with an open door. Step inside and turn right to reach the kitchen area. The Milk Carton is next to the cooking stove. Hard to miss once you're in the right room.
Sugar: Recording Studio DTI Cooking Show set
From the beach, turn right and head into the Recording Studio. Inside, find the DTI Cooking Show mock setup room on the left side of the main recording area. Walk in and check the shelves along the left wall. The Sugar bowl is on the first shelf. Grab it and head back outside.
Flour: purple bicycle outside the Recording Studio
This one trips people up the most. Step back outside the Recording Studio and look for a small staircase. Right next to it is a narrow alleyway connecting to the central staircase. Walk along that alleyway until you spot a purple bicycle with an orange basket parked in front of it. The Flour is inside the basket. That's all 5.
How do you complete the cake mini game after collecting all ingredients?
Return to the Cooking Station in the Dressing Room and interact with it again. The mini game starts with an on-screen mixing sequence that involves clicking and pressing Space to combine the ingredients into batter. Follow the prompts through each step.
Once the batter is ready, place it in the oven. You'll need to wait approximately 5 minutes for the cake to bake. After the timer finishes, take the cake out and decorate the 10 Billion Cake to complete the mini game.
Completing the decoration step hands you the Cake Dress and the Cake Accessory automatically. Both are exclusive to this 10 Billion milestone event.
